I asked you guys several months ago to tell me who was the next kid that have similar athleticism as Kobe or perhaps better athleticism and one IBN member had brought this kid's name. And lo and behold, he was right.

Begs the question, how did he develop his shot?

Even without consistent three point shooting if this guy turns out into a taller version of Thirdy Ravena, I will be satisfied with that.

This kid is not a diamond in the rough,he's more a diamond that just needs some polishing to make it shine.

He's around 6'1-6'2. That style of play won't work in college. He needed to adapt or else he'll become irrelevant.

Whatever happened to Paolo Romero? He played for UP right?

One good thing I noticed about this kid is that, he's already physically mature for his age—cut arms and shoulder. That's a sign that he knows how to use the weight room.

On the other hand, Kobe was a skinny kid at 15, but had more bounce nonetheless.

Just watched FREEGO CUP PSSBC and my first time I watched Francis Lopez and the potential is there he just need to improve his shooting, decisions making or shoot selection, dribbling. But I can't wait to see him play against FEU and their import DIALLO and against play against Tamayo and Quiambao companies... Francis Lopez play like a little bit like Giannis maybe he will be like the PINOY FREEK

Agree. A 6-foot-6 (which could be Lopez' maximum potential height) version of Thirdy Ravena (with inconsistent 3-pt. shooting) would be significantly better than a 6-foot-2 Thirdy Ravena.

hoping against odds that he be a bit taller than 6'6.A little more than 6'7-6'8 without shoes would be fine. Then maybe we could match him up against Rui Hachimura in the future.

Isn't Lopez 6'5 already? For sure he'll grow taller than 6'6.

6-foot-6 was just my conservative height projection of Lopez. He might end up standing 6-foot-7 (most likely) or even 6-8 (which would be great).

6'8 without shoes, may pass off as 6'9 in other leagues. International height for a power forward with guard skills.I hope he'll develop a KD type shooting and scoring mentality.
