Hornets beat the Pacers in O/T and now have 4 wins in 7 games! Still early in the season, but the Hornets don't look so much worst than they were last season as most predicted.

After beating the Pacers, the Hornets have an even greater challenge against the Celtics tonight, in the 1st official game that Kemba Walker will be playing against Micheal Jordan's team, rather that for it.

Strange day for North Carolina fans, but if the Hornets worth something this season, it is the perfect game to prove it against Boston who leads the East conference rankings.

Despite the Hornets losing to the Celtics, but the next game against the Pelicans too and going below an 0.500 record at 4W vs. 5L for the first time this season, it looks that losing Kemba Walker, won't be as costly as most thought for N.Carolina's team in the long term.

The Hornets have had Devonte' Graham unexpectedly stepping up to perform in an All Star level and keeps developing his game, looking promising to become one of the best Point Guards that ever played the game...

In only his sophomore year after having picked at No 34 during the 2018's draft, the 24 year old, is scoring an average of 18pts and passes 7.5 assists per game this season, while successfully shoots 42% of his 3pt attempts! Even better, he looks to have a lot of upgrade potential in the near future.

Clearly the Hornets are prepared to sacrifice this season by giving to Devonte' Graham, Miles Bridges and rookie P.J. Washington as many minutes as possible in order to develop this huge potential trio as fast as possible... The other rookie Bacon and still young Hernangomez seem to have less future potential, but are still talented enough to surround the three potential All-Stars core.

It is therefore resonable for this young team to have its ups and downs this season, but in general, the Hornets should be expected to be significantly better later in the season and become a real threat by next season.

Two consecutive wins for the Hornets, bring them at a low playoff seed despite everybody predicting that they would be a "boxing sac" this season, after they lost Kemba in free agency...

As I said before, there is huge future talent of All-Star potential on at least three players in their roster, which will result in the team having its ups and downs this season, but at the end of the day this team will be much better later in the season.

The two consecutive wins, followed by two consecutive losses which caused the Hornets dropping below the 8th seed of the East ranking and below a 0.500 record as well... It is still early in the season, but it will be very valuable for this extremely talented young team, to make it in the postseason at the end... It will accelerate the progress of their roster.

Two crucial games against the Wizards and the Bulls which are both on a similar ranking are following for the Hornets... If they can win them both, it will give them a clear advantage over both competitors, if they lose both, they will be on a huge handicap on their hopes to compete for a low playoff seed in the East.

As it turns, the Bees lost both these crucial games and it now looks like achieving a miracle if they are to come back, despite still being early in the season...
