It will be very interesting to see what is to the Hornets that could benefit out of this... The Hornets did lose all Kemba, Lamb and Kaminsky this season and only added Rozier which automatically puts them out on any thought for contention as far as the East playoffs are concerned (they were very close all of the last season) and even makes them favorites to be one of the teams that will be at the bottom of the entire league this season...

I guess drinking a bit more after you've been a retired NBA-legend and getting old is no harm, especially if the team you've bought doesn't do particularly well...

In any case, other than Jordan selling part of the Hornets to investors, he also has entered the "Tequila business"...

Surprisingly enough, the Hornets resisted well against the Celtics in their 1st preseason game... Only lost by 1 point against a team full of stars (including "their own" Kemba Walker)...

I'm not sure how inviting the new investors can help the Hornets, but surely the 2nd preseason game shows that the team will be a candidate for the worst record in the entire league this season... Maybe a good opportunity for Michael to enjoy his tequila more?

Playing their 3rd preseason game against one of the best teams in the league, the Hornets showed no better than their previews games.

Even playing without Embiid, the Sixers were able to blow them apart.

Quite unexpected, but the Hornets started the season by beating the Bulls by one point... Never the less, a victory is still a victory, even if only for 1 pt...

It is still early in the season, but the Hornets are looking much better than most thought they would be...

Hornets vs. GSW tonight, on a game that Michael Jordan's new team, will have a good chance to test where it stands as far as competitiveness is concerned.

After this development happening this early in Giannis Antetokounmpo's career and given that Giannis is already among the the leading athletes in attracting endorsements, it looks very possible that Giannis may overtake Michael Jordan as the world's richest Basketball player.

The Hornets have beaten GSW in their visit to California, having the bookies scratching their heads.

Hornets against the Pacers tonight, in a game that will be a good measure on where both teams really stand in the power rankings.

Hornets beat the Pacers in O/T and now have 4 wins in 7 games! Still early in the season, but the Hornets don't look so much worst than they were last season as most predicted.

After beating the Pacers, the Hornets have an even greater challenge against the Celtics tonight, in the 1st official game that Kemba Walker will be playing against Micheal Jordan's team, rather that for it.

Strange day for North Carolina fans, but if the Hornets worth something this season, it is the perfect game to prove it against Boston who leads the East conference rankings.

Despite the Hornets losing to the Celtics, but the next game against the Pelicans too and going below an 0.500 record at 4W vs. 5L for the first time this season, it looks that losing Kemba Walker, won't be as costly as most thought for N.Carolina's team in the long term.

The Hornets have had Devonte' Graham unexpectedly stepping up to perform in an All Star level and keeps developing his game, looking promising to become one of the best Point Guards that ever played the game...

In only his sophomore year after having picked at No 34 during the 2018's draft, the 24 year old, is scoring an average of 18pts and passes 7.5 assists per game this season, while successfully shoots 42% of his 3pt attempts! Even better, he looks to have a lot of upgrade potential in the near future.

Clearly the Hornets are prepared to sacrifice this season by giving to Devonte' Graham, Miles Bridges and rookie P.J. Washington as many minutes as possible in order to develop this huge potential trio as fast as possible... The other rookie Bacon and still young Hernangomez seem to have less future potential, but are still talented enough to surround the three potential All-Stars core.

It is therefore resonable for this young team to have its ups and downs this season, but in general, the Hornets should be expected to be significantly better later in the season and become a real threat by next season.

Two consecutive wins for the Hornets, bring them at a low playoff seed despite everybody predicting that they would be a "boxing sac" this season, after they lost Kemba in free agency...

As I said before, there is huge future talent of All-Star potential on at least three players in their roster, which will result in the team having its ups and downs this season, but at the end of the day this team will be much better later in the season.
