That can be a factor for the final game. But so far, our "load management" has worked fine. Let's see how many minutes Gobert and Scola play today.

btw, I saw this on twitter

    like someone already said.
ball possession and up 1 with 9 seconds to go is not the same as free throws when down 1 with 4 seconds to go.
with the aussie possession it would be quick spanish foul and potential 2 or 3 point lead.
    can you see the difference?

Not agree at all. Australia had the game on his hands, but we still fight and believed although we were 11 down. Our players gave everything on the court in the OTs, taking difficult shots and defending with all.

On the other side, Australia's players started to choke with the pressure, and with Mills exhausted, nobody took the shots.

Again the Greek losers thinking that "they" are "the entire World". Face it. All Balcan and related countries cannot stand that they think they are kind of inventors of basketball and the best teams of the continent for many years and for the years to come are Spain and France. Maybe you should send a couple of people there to learn and watch how to play and how to compete. Instead you are crying or trowing chairs to the rivals.

I can see the difference. But as a customer, if I pay to come out as the winner of this game I'd be pretty pissed if my refs give Australia a chance to win. Can you see the difference between giving Australia a chance and not giving them any chance?

We have a couple of talents and we should send them to Spain for their PhD on flopping

Another show that defense, tactical discipline and a true floor general (eventhough many laughed on him all the time), veteran leaders and clear defined roles are everything in such a tournament. Refs...lol Incredible. Always from the same directions by the way.
Exactly. This is why I may suspect that you would have liked to have Teo and a "veteran" trainer for Serbia. They will be in the final instead of playing uninteresting games.

I don't agree with him either. I found it funny. in general I like the Australian way of expressing things.

maybe you haven't paid all three refs but just two
in all my years here, and I have been coming to interbasket for more then a decade, I have never seen a comment from a spanish user in which he would condemn a spanish player for flopping or bitching to refs on the floor.
whether it is an NT game or spanish club game.
just curious, do you really don't see all the flopping of your players or you see it but you are just fine with it?

you know, I'm a fan and I can bitch as much as I want and you will come here and say I'm not right about it. and that's fine.
but at the same time when your player bitches to the refs on the floor you don't say anything?
you are fine with that or you are simply not objective about it?

If Australia old guys hold up for another year and they add Exum,Simmons and Bolden for the Olympics they could have another very good chance next year. But it could be their last.Every important player will be over 30 and noone can expect Simmons to be as loyal as Mills to NT(he was even playing at Oceania championships every summer)

This also you need to learn. You are jealous you are not even able to flop. Greece is nowhere and will be nowhere. No matter how much talent you have if you are not able to compete like a team.

staying out of the debate; but since 1999, with more or less the same generation plus their brothers; Spain has 14 medals in EuroBasket, Mundobasket and Olympics. That's an insane dominance in Europe.

    Spain NT 1999-2019
    10 Eurobasket: 9 medals
    5 World Cup: 2 medals
    5 Olympic Games: 3 medals
    14 medals in 20 tournaments!

There is no debate on that. Spain's dominance is a given
