הצהובים עדיין צריכים להגיע להסדר כספי עם הישראלי בן ה-23, שצפוי לחתום לשלוש עונות. מיועד לתפוס את מקומו של ג'ייק כהן שעזב

Sorkin is probably the most improved player in Israel last season. He is what you call stretch 4, good shooting, good blocking, dynamic. Still too soft for EL.

I don't know if they'll be any good but they're spending more on FAs this year than most EL teams.
I think they'll be a better team on paper than they will on the court

Yes, he is quite impressive in the league, can play even as SF, if needed, but surely needs to add some muscle mass, even though he's not too skinny. He's much more mobile than Jake Cohen, has good basics (US college). Post up game looks pretty neat as well. 3 point shooting is around 32-36% which is not bad, free throws were pretty much Ok in college, not so good last season - 60%...We''ll see I guess.

And same article says that Amare stays as well, so he could be Sorkin's mentor.

              • Fresh news about RM and our Argentinians:

Laprovíttola will leave the team soon.
Campazzo's departure is stopped due to his buyout.
Deck hasnt renewed his contract (2021) and he could be exploring his NBA options.

as i tought amare will be the 2nd c. not the third. bad new. sorkin ft percent make me worry. having less than 70% is a big weakness. 32%-36% 3p percent in il league it mean 30/32% in el. not that good. he is quite young ok, but actually cohen/sirkin is a downgrade. not economically. guess sirkin earn half of cohen's salary. since this is the main factor mta care, they ll be very happy. i 'd never condamn a big man able to shoot. simply, i'll see

Yes I read it too, 6Mio in one sume is a lot for a euroleague player. Good news for Pao.

Maccabi by all indications on Israeli sport sites is looking for center/PF, so your assumption is probably wrong.
Sorkin/Amare are mostly for Israeli league, since two Israelis left - Avdija and Cohen . Right now Maccabi's Israeli roster consists of 2 main lineup players - Casspi and Zussman, both prone to injuries or are in not clear condition. Sandy Cohen is improving, but he's far from being impressive, despite crazy 3 point shooting in league final. There are also four junior Israeli players, who might or might not be ready for the league. So Maccabi needs to add some more, and that will be DiBa, Amare and Sorkin.
Except them, Acy is in negotiations right now, and, as I said, Maccabi will probably sign another center, or PF/C. I would sign SF/PF too, but that's me.

He is between Real and Maccabi, we will know soon I believe.

Perhaps Maccabi can give him a nba escape, real instead would prefer a stable contract. But everything is still possible, he will play in one of these two teams.

would be a very good add .after him we 'd urgently need a shooting 3/4. g position is not so solid. dorsey is an erratic player, diba is coming out from two serious injuries.

Looking at the current rosters, Maccabi needs him more than Real, which could be a factor
