These Gilas World Cup busts out of nowhere just became the best PBA Players at the moment. Raymond Almazan posting double doubles. Kiefer Ravena playing like a Point God. Although cant say the same for Baroks, Norwood and Lee.

That's what playing against tough opponents can do. We adjust a little to the level of competition. This is something that M. Romero doesn't (or pretends not to) understand.

It's amazing how much he improved his shooting which used to be his weakness. He's also more a lot more aggressive offensively now compared to his younger years. Too bad Meralco doesn't have enough weapons to be a threat to SMC teams

They need a super scorer type of player.. a bolick, parks or Perez to meralco then they have a real chance to get a title.. after getting almazan, this team is now ready to challenge smc teams..

If we look at the teams that traded for big men, they are now making waves.

Northport acquired Mo Tautuaa last year and has now made it to the playoffs for two consecutive conferences.

NLEX acquired Poy Erram at the start of the season and after two conferences they are now off to a great start this 3rd conference. Meralco got Almazan last conference. And are now playing excellent basketball.

Problem is that will require they give up either Newsome or Amer plus other incentives. They may have Almazan but SMB has CS and JF plus Nabong. Japeth and Slaughter naman for Ginebra.
