For example, before this recent run with Saras, Zalgiris was always near the bottom in terms of pure talent level but you always knew that they will not be bottom 2-3 teams in EL. Similar with Zvezda, Partizan etc.

So, I might agree that Zvezda has no chance to lift the trophy this season and the odds for that are fine, but I find it difficult to believe that they would finish second to last.
Cmon, we had 11 victories with fuckin Alimpijevic and much weaker roster.

There are 7-8 stronger rosters this season than us, but if some favorites disappoint we can fight.

Agree with this, Zvezda has good roster. I hope many good games from this team.

In Belgrade even the favorites will "spit blood" to win (if they win). Zvezda can beat anyone in a full Beobank Arena. Best and most hellish atmosphere in Europe, giving the RS players "wings".

Yes ,also Real Madrid played semi-final with Mollin who took over team in february . Olympiacos played final with Gianakis ,Prokom played quarter-final with Pacesas ,Olympiacos won Euroleague with Bartozakis who was almost debutant .So,what is this argument like ?

We have super duper early betting lines already for Round 1! This is hilarious. The bookmaker putting this out is 1xBet.com, which is a known scam book that doesn't pay you when you win a lot from their site, but the site is very useful for the streams of random basketball games in obscure countries, which is fun to watch when drunk.

Anyway, here are the lines for R1

    Home / Away

    KHI -3.5 / MTA
    BAY / AXM -3.5
    ASV / OLY -5.5
    RMB -3.5 / FNB
    ZAL -3.5 / BSK
    EFS / FCB -1.5
    ALB -4.5 / ZEN
    PAO -9.5 / CZV
    VAL / CSK -6.5

At first glance, if I were to bet today (which I will not bc 1x is a scam and FIBA WC yet to happen yet so injuries are uncertain), I would take:

    KHI -3.5
    BAY +3.5
    OLY -5.5
    ALB -4.5
    PAO -9.5

Interested to see what others think about these!

Man, if you are interested in betting, we have a thread for that. This one is for EL season predictions. I restored your post there and let's discuss this topic there

Ok sorry! New here, don't really know where everything belongs. But doesn't betting on round 1 games require prediction of games?

It does, but when season starts we usually have a thread dedicated to each given round, where people discuss/predicts how the games on that round will finish. Even there's prediction game. But this thread is for whole season predictions If you think that betting thread not exactly the right one for your question, you are free to open a thread for the 1st round of the season, even now
