A little under sized if Kai is in the bench in the Center position, but with Soyud and Chua i think we will have good rebounders and post defenders, those guys are bruisers, Go and Baltazar will learn a lot from them specially in terms of physicality. Also undersized in the Shooting guard position, but Pogoy and Perez are one of the PBA's best in their position, so i think we could compensate a bit of their size with skill and scoring ability. Another thing is that they could also play smaller position if needed. This lineup can go big with Kai 7'3, Baltazar 6'8, Rosario 6'7, Ramos 6'5 and De Liaño 6'2.Sayang wala si Ange, thats a potential twin tower lineup.

Hopefully Chua and Soyud are the ones who man the middle when the cadet bigs come in, especially for Baltazar and Cariño. I repeatedly say that the latter two hopefully develop into power forwards.

    • when kai start or coming off the bench, it's better to pair him with activity 4 like troy or balty. Go won't do. Kai thrives with an activity 4 (see edu). It would be perfect if CS is included. Kai-CS would be nice to watch..

Harper tho might be too young to take on the responsibilities of a naturalized player, Clarkson, maybe just in his prime come 2023
But I'm thinking about Gilas' naturalized player prospects beyond 2023, in particular the 2025 Asia Cup & the 2027 World Cup, times when Clarkson, who I think is in his late 20's now, would no longer in his prime while Harper would be starting to reach his peak.

Is Harper a better prospect than the Harris kid? Anyway whatever happened to the plan to get multiple NPs?

If Remy Martin was eligible he is sure in for any gilas squad probably the best Filipino point guard right now, but due to his eligibility and with Gilas lack of sealing or solid pos 3,4,5 player, Gilas management might be more incline to get a pos. 3,4,5 type of a Player, but then again Gilas did use Stanley Pringle as of its NP before.

Hard to tell becoz Caleum Harris is only around 15 or 16 YO. Parang mahirap pa e assess at this stage how he will pan out. Harper on the other hand is already 20 YO, so parang mas madali na e gauge his true potential.

Here's my assessment on Remy Martin: No Asian player would be able to keep in step with him. The guy is ridiculously quick & agile. Even the sportscaster covering the games of Arizona State University marvel at how quick/speedy martin is. This to think that highly quick & speedy guards in the US NCAA Div. 1 are very common. I bet even a prime Jason Castro will struggle to keep in step with martin.

Too bad it seems he isn't eligible.

                      Isn't it too obvious?

Who the hell is our PGs??? Kiefer, Nieto, 1GDL, Dalph????

Remy is 4 leagues ahead of them

Yeah. Sadly. Looks like he did not secured a passport.

And also he cannot be exempt because he never developed his talent here

                        • Can I ask if the Tall African looking player in coach Baldwin's University team is a local? I think he would be very valuable to your national team

He probably has a passport but the interview he gave said he got it at 16. Hope fiba allows him as a local though as that rule is so dumb.

If fiba allowed it, our other ineligible will be locals too.

So, Remy is like a Chris Koon Case

Remy doesnt have "basketball heritage" yet although his getting a passport at 16 and its clear he truly feels that he is Filipino. FIBA is stupid and my pipe dream is that it is replaced by a better entity. Remy is very likely to be eligible for the Asian Games and maybe the Olympics and both are 100% more important than the official FIBA events.
