That's not my point. Hagop rule works for us here because our eligibles are better than Thailand's eligibles. were there no Hagop rule we can beat even New Zealand

An Indonesia team with Lester Prosper will be a threat to a Gilas team minus quality bigs Junmar, Standhardinger & Japeth.

I don't think anyone among Erram, Go, Baltazar or even Pingris would be able to neutralize Prosper inside the shaded lane.

Sangalang would have been a good replacement but he is from SMC,.. Buti si Belga di na natawagan, he is the alwaya Replacement player...

We can afford double/triple teaming Him. He doesnt have a lot to kick out to.

Their shooters are even worse than Pogoy and Kiefer.

Then goodbye for a chance to improve then. Sanggalang, one of the pba's top bigs, got rattled when he played the taller qatar team. He had his multiple chances to improve with gilas but missed it. I hope balti will commit the same.

This is the firs time I realized without Jap, Junmar and Almazan our country lack quality big men to replace those guys and it's very alarming. Imagine going to world cup with Erram, Go and Chua as your big lol!

Contrary on what some ibners have wanted everyone to view about kobe and rayray(as unpatriotic pabebes). Nakarami na ng Gilas exposure yun 2, both in 3x3 and 5x5, from youth to senior level. Even how many nt exposures that they have, may mga times din na tumanggi sila and tingin nila ang daming beses, it is a testament of the talent these 2 have. Every national team iteration, hinahanap hanap sila hehe

That is the negative outcome if our college program are always depends getting foreign big man.. our local big man have no chance to develop.. getting foreign players are good.. but we need to prioritize our local bigs.. also greediness of some pba teams getting too much of big man prospects even they have already complete set of bigs in their team.. sayang Yung guys like AVO, Matt Aquino, De Guzman, etc... If they are in the right team eh they will be vital contributor of the team.. or another big thing eh most of the big man's are ineligible guys like tautuaa, rosser and Cstand (he can only play as naturalized)..

Remember Baltazar has to come behind Mbala and Go has always credited his game guarding Kuoame in practice. If players don't develop it's not because they have to play less minutes, African players coming over to play college here usually are former football players that were converted to play basketball. It just mean that locals have more time playing the game getting exposed basically at an early age.If they don't develop, its more likely that is because they don't play as hard as the other athlete.

Have you seen the Indonesia vs. Gilas game in the recent SEA Games?

Have you seen how deadly their shooters are in the SEA Games? And that was an Indonesian National team without a big man naturalized player. Now, imagine that team having a Lester Prosper being a threat from the shaded lane.

Imagine that team with 8 players and potentially no Prosper since his papers aren't finished.

Nah. Obviously Gilas is not serious defending because it is a blowout game(not as bloeout as others but still).

And Again Even Pogoy and Kiefer( the two who brick shots) are better shooters than indonesian shooters. If they are the same level with Korea in terms of shooting, then it will be a problem. Their shooting is nit even in one fourrth of Korea's deadly shooting.
