Things I've seen in the 1st
Good:
1. Everyone raved about Dwight. Dude's proving them right.
2. Javi is quick now and has good defensive footwork (at least for this level)
3. Juan seems healthy and more aggressive than in UP (he used to settle for off the dribble 3s a lot, now most of his 3s were from a pass)
4. The team is playing well from a passing standpoint. 19 FGs on 16 assists.
5. The team is playing very disciplined on defense. None of those overly aggressive fouls in man defense that we see a lot from PBA guys.
Bad
1. Kobe Paras from last season looks like Kobe Paras 2020
2. Matt Nieto still can't make a shot (dude has been inefficient for the last year or so)
Miscellaneous
1. Rey Suerte occasionally looks competent off ball, but the primary option tendencies are hard to kick.
2. So far, Juan has attempted 5 3s and only 1 2. He regressed last year due to too many 3s (and health). Let's see if he's still crazy in love with the 3 ball.
3. Not too sold on Baltazar. He shot 40% from 2 last season. He's perfect but on high variance/low return shots. Not too crazy about that.
4. Dave has looked non-aggressive even timid. Interesting to see how he adjusts from being the only option on NU.
5. All the good things must be taken with a grain of salt due to opponent's skill level.

Kidding aside, I don't think Pogoy will lose his spot. Dwight might take Gabe's spot.
