The Mighty Sports lineup and participation clearly shows the incompetence of the SBP. The players cannot contribute anything to the development of Phil basketball. It should have been the cadets playing here in preparation for 2023. This year should be the last year we get the pba to "help." Starting next year, the lineup for all international tournaments should be the 2023 team.

Exactly. Cadets should be taking advantage of this opportunity.

That is why we need a full time team especially with us hosting. Ronald Mascarinas should get his balls back and create the team. He already mentioned it before but backtracked when the PBA reacted.

2nd straight Jones Cup opportunity for exposure that Gilas Cadets wasted... Same old same old.

This is the problem with democracy. If this was China, none of these UAAP/NCAA schools will dare go against what the government wants.

Kinda a bad example as China is ruthless towards its people especially minorities.

We're just talking about how they handle their sports programs.

If you want to talk politics, you can look at how USA discriminates against Blacks and Muslims and what Europe did to their colonies (and how they are handling the refugee situation today). China isn't innocent but in reality, who is? Somewhere along the line of history, most of these influential and powerful countries f*cked up one way or the other.

Eager to reclaim the title, Mighty Sports Philippines has put together another strong lineup for the Jones Cup in Taiwan.

BTW by now with Grey and Adams one should know when. The opportunity of eventually being eligible is gone, there is really no rush to get a passport for college graduates, different from teenagers

They should include all the ABL Fil-Ams on this team.

Same sentiments here. This current Jones Cup team is loaded with imports. It would be like the Mighty Sports team in 2016 Jones Cup. Mighty Sports dominated that tournament & won the Jones Cup trophy, but what good did it bring to Philippine basketball?

Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV

Mighty will play the Gilas team of CYG bedore Mighty flies to Taiwan. I DONT know if Blatche will be available by then. That should be a good workout for Gilas as MIGHTY will be parading an international sized lineup, parang nakalaban na rin ng Gilas ang Angola niyo with the atjleticism of the team. Dont know how the Gilas boys will handle the frontline NDiaye 7-2, Balkman 6-8,Phelps 6-5, wingers Zach Graham, Adams and Gray all 6-5, PG Mickey Williams 6-1 and Brickmann 6foot..

The USA nominated a black man as president, they have a lot of women in their Senate, some are even Muslims. If discrimination is so bad, then how come Asians in general makes more money than whites in per household? How many minorities in the Chinese politburo? So Europe is bad yet these migrants keep going to the place where the white people are the majority. Now that South Africa is a black majority, are there a stampede of African immigrants from other countries? If America is so bad then why come at all?
