Simon and Balbay extended for 2 years, too.

the picture at the moment, as far as I can see:

    Larkin - Micic - Balbay - Tuncer - Ilyasoglu
    Simon - Beaubois - Bitim
    Anderson - Kurtuldum
    Moerman - Motum - Birsen - Saybir
    Dunston - Pleiss - Sanli

    Coach: Ataman

He is definitely a target because Ataman loves him. At the moment I have serious concerns about his finishing ablilities at the rim. He is not strong enough. In Addition to that shooting was always a problem but he is a great asset for creating for others. In any case is he better than Metecan.

Well, Efes definitely made a good choice pairing Micic and Ataman. Micic learned so much in Zalgiris and he feels like a real coach in team. Ataman is just an easy entertainment. Moerman is also a nice addition. But I think, that you need a good SF and good bench PF and C. That would be a very solid team.

    Efes roster at the moment:

    Larkin (?) - Micic - Balbay - Tuncer (?)- Ilyasoglu
    Simon -
    Beaubois (?) - Bitim (?)
    Anderson (?) - Kurtuldum
    Moerman - Motum -
    Birsen (?) - Saybir
    Dunston - Pleiss -
    Sanli (?)

    my realistic (maybe not) wishlist:

--> extend Larkin (estimated cost impact: +$1000k/year)
--> sign Higgins to replace Beabouis (estimated cost impact: +$700k/year)
--> sign Lucic to replace Motum (estimated cost impact: -$200k/year)
--> sign Milutinov to replace Pleiss (estimated cost impact: +$1000k/year)
--> bring Korkmaz to replace Anderson (estimated cost impact: +$500k/year)
    total cost impact: +3m USD

    Larkin - Micic - Balbay - Ilyasoglu
    Simon - Higgins
    Korkmaz - Kurtuldum
    Moerman - Lucic - Saybir
    Dunston -
    Milutinov - Sanli

    Dear Levenspiel, we need to correct some positions of Efes;

Bugrahan Tuncer is combo guard, generally better to consider him as SG.
    Simon is SF.
    Mustafa Kurtuldum is pure SG.
Birsen can play both forward spots, for our team mostly considered as SF.

    This year's roster is:

    Larkin, Micic, Balbay, Ilyasoglu
    Beaubois, Tuncer, Bitim, Kurtuldum
    Simon, Anderson, Birsen
    Moerman, Motum, Saybir
    Dunston, Pleiss, Sanli.

There is only a wishlist for me - to keep Larkin.

Thanks for the corrections, Efesdxb. I'd say Simon plays 1-2-3. The others are unfortunately not a factor for the EL.

keeping Larkin is crucial yes, but then we'll be at the previous level + some experience & probably more cohesion. I think we need more muscle power inside.

Shame on you that you downgrade Furkan to Europe again. I am confident that hell stay overseas in a tanking team like Cleveland or the Suns.

If Efes keeps Larkin and bring Higgins(I doubt it) then we have the new champion

Names rumored with Efes shows we are on the right track. Higgins, Lucic, White, Reynolds and likes are kind of players we should be looking for.

Today in media, Tolga Gecim from Banvit will be Efes player next year.
He is one of all around player of 95-96 generation. Hope this is true and he will sign with Efes.

As the season is over and we are the champs, I would like to share my wish list for next season:

PG: Vasilije Micic, Shane Larkin, Dogus Balbay, Omercan Ilyasoglu
SG: Furkan Korkmaz - Terence Mann (LA Clipers drafted) - Bugrahan Tuncer
SF: Krunoslav Simon - Vladimir Lucic - Tolga Gecim - Metecan Birsen
PF: Adrien Moerman - Aaron White - Yigitcan Saybir
C: Bryant Dunston - Jordan Mickey or Jalen Reynolds - Sertac Sanli

On Loan: Mustafa Kurtuldum - Onuralp Bitim - Muhaymin Mustafa (if Furkan Korkmaz comes, I would prefer Omercan Ilyasoglu go out on loan as well)

    Leaving: Beaubois, Anderson, Motum, Pleiss

Someone might say do we need this much of change after a successful season. However this will allow us build a long term team with additions like Mann, White and center as they will be all below 27 years.

If I ignore Furk in that whish list the best turk is the third option? Its not really efeslike.

I know that coach Ataman likes him as he can play both forward options. Personally i don't like him that much, I see a bit of Derrick Brown in his character.
But definitely you know O'Bryant better than me.
I prefer more players like White, Lucic, who are coachable and upside and bottom limits are close.

Unfortunately when we talk about EL and if we target F4 if you don't have Ersan and Cedi on your roster, this is the best you can get.
For EL roster it is 9 foreigners plus Dogus, Furkan and Tolga for me.
Omercan and Yigitcan might be first or second options if they show expected developments.
Then we will have our own Micic and Moerman.

MTA are waiting to his decition. Accorsing to that, Maccabi will sign one more C or PF and IL Center like Amara or renew with Tyus
