Shane Larkin all week long and twice on Sunday.

        Veselj is laughable as MVP.

No one can argue that Shane Larkin was instrumental and the top dog dragging a poor EL standard team from the last places of the EL last year to the F4. OK he had help from 2-3 others players but he was the man that dragged Efes kicking and screaming to the elite. He transformed a plastic team into a true force.

His PIR in the last 10 RS games, Play offs and the yesterday are out of this world. No player is more important for his team than SL.

Yesterday's game counts for F4 MVP. Efes was 4th all season long, they weren't waiting for Larkin to hit form.

Rather strange decision, though predictable. And the best moment of the season with him simply laughable!
But IMO this season there was no obvious MVP, like before. Out of the First Five Micic deserved it the most.

Some NBA fans are right when they say Euroleague doesn't mean much. If Vesely is your MVP.

Larkin did not deserve RS MVP in any case.

About Vesely, as Bob will say when he comes over, this was the weakest year ever in terms of having 1-2 clear dominant players on good teams to be actually serious candidates for MVPs.

I believe that it should have been Clyburn but whatever, nobody was actually much more impressive than Vesely to make such strong statements.

Sad days for basketball in Europe. Not only because player like Vesely has won that award, he really doesn’t have almost any basketball skills but because there really wasn’t anybody much better.

in retrospect, after F4 elimination, it sounds weird, but who else could it be?

Higgins or Clyburn, I think you could make a case for both.

Larkin. He's been the ace in our sleeve. He would be the MVP of the 2nd half of the year certainly, but not overall. For Efes, Moerman probably was the most dependable player, Micic maybe the most critical, but neither were exceptional enough to bring up in MVP conversation.

Calathes. Not to start another discussion, but you could make a case.

Overall, I think, for lack of a better candidate, Vesely deserved it.
