until, we find someone as good as gabe and get clarkson a clearance, parks should stay as sf for nt purposes.

ps: the reason we are discussing parks to gilas here was because of his so far good showing this commissioner's cup. pba is gilas since majority of its players are pba players save for blatche and clarkson.

Looking at the videos it seems that Wright, Pogoy learn their lesson (Australia brawl)

While Calvin? Mukhang may personal issues siya. As a fan I only hope maayos niya to at makabalik pa.

Calvin needs to get himself evaluated. There might be deep-lying issues that he has yet to resolve.
    Keep running, big boy.

Phoenix or the PBA should only rescind an indefinite suspension once he gt clearance from mental health doctors.

In the PHL and in most countries, there is a stigma attached to a person branded with mental health issues. That's why there is virtually nobody to ever admit he has mental health issues. And you guys are right, there may be some deep underlying factors why some people suffer from this. Could be stress, or something the individual experienced in the past, and it's not helping when Filipinos,as resilient as they are, are just being told to just man up and suck it up, and not understanding that this is a medical issue.

Remember when Joey de Leon, in one of the segments said to a person who was diagnosed with clinical depression, that it is nothing but being emotional and that person was just sad or depressed because he was just heartbroken, or something to that effect. It took his family and some of his co-hosts that called him out, for him to realize that this is a clinical / medical problem. And silver lining was, it opened a discussion regarding Clinical Depression .

Maybe in Calvin's case, it can open discussions about the state of an individual's mental health, and people should move past the stigma attached to it.

In the NBA, aside from Artest, high profile players like Kevin Love and Demar De Rozan opened up regarding the importance of mental health and how seeing and seeking medical help , assisted them towards wellness.

Serves him right. abueva should not be allowed to play in the PBA anymore until he commits himself to psychiatric help. He is vicious and vile. His intention is to hurt and that's just disgusting really.

Looks like I was right about Calvin's fans.

A lot of them are actually proud that Calvin didn't back down from the big evil black foreigner. Why are they suspending a Filipino who only defended his and the Philippines honor. Nasa sariling bansa naapi pa ng banyaga. Actual comment from FB lol. Nevermind the fact that he took him down first and that he's been hurt him the whole game.

Like seriously how many more times can people still give Calvin the benefit of a doubt? He's waaaaay past that and its high time the PBA should got rid of trash like him. I'm sure the inter-unano MPBL would welcome him with open arms.

2 kinds of fans, one hates calvin to the core and the other loves him like a blind mice...If you really care about calvin you knew that he might cross the line later on and should be given proper counselling

Let's just say, US online media picked it up. NY Post, DeadSpin and even the Univeristy of Kentucky Online news featured it. One thing in common, they all tagged it as zany and somewhat comedic because of all the bizarre series of events. From the hard shove, to the nutjob, to the jog, to the Yu Joc dance, to the violent clothesline, then the the shove of the ref, and finally to the funny dance of Abueva.

    Is there no "in-between"?
"A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV

Calvin just had to pick on a former NBA player didn’t he? His tactics of trying to bait imports into retaliating is ridiculous. I’m fine with him making a fool of himself, but he really doesn’t have to drag Philippines basketball with him.

lets face it one crazy sob jones crossed the line and dance after giving an attempted low blow to calvin.. if a player x is one crazy sob who try to under cut abueva.. abueva might do the same because people will defend him that player x tried to end calvins career.. its two way.. mapupuno na si calvin and also other players must also not do that tactic to not escalate any sort of brawl..

Aside for the fines and penalties on the player's and coaches the referees that officiate on that game should also be blame for not calling for a truce between the 2 teams after that 1st quarter incident. a retraining and demotion would be appropriate action from the comm. office
