Default [2019 EL PO] CSKA Moscow - Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz

these two teams are going to continue playing each other. CSKA is a clear favorite, and seems to be even heavier now with injury issues of Baskonia, but is a surprise possible? or is it going to be the most boring PO series?

From view of Baskonia, them match Real more then Fenerbahce and Cska ,at finally they were 7th place and they can to make problem Cska but I think will not enough for f4, I predict 3-2 .

I agree. I think it will be a home court series for all 5 games.

CSKA is really hard to predict on this season, mostly because of Itoudis.

I wouldn't surprise to see a hard series like 3-2, and I also wouldn't be surprise to see a 3-0 as well, because Baskonia is inconsistent as hell too. One moment they beat Madrid with +10, then they lose to Efes with -10 at Vitoria. You will never know what Baskonia do in the next game.

This is the least interesting match-up for me this year. Cska has always made me feel like i'm watching a machine, not a team fighting with soul, so unless they face with my team or Real, it's hard to get excited about what they'll do, even if they'll be facing the host.

I believe Baskonia will lose two away games, get a win in Vitoria and then Cska will advance, it'll be 3-1 like last year.

It highly depends on injuries. Without Janning, Granger they can take only one dub here.

CSKA will win the series 3-1 with the advantage of having deep and talented guard rotation.

Maybe Baskonia can get one at home. They can be entertaining, but too inconsistent to make it a tough series for CSKA.
    CSKA 3-1 Baskonia.

This year Baskonia may get 1 or even 2 wins at home. But I believe CSKA will still win.
    I voted 3 -1 CSKA, but I have nothing against 3 - 2

Baskonia's last win in Moscow was in the 2005 (Final Four), CSKA's last lost in Playoffs in Moscow was in the 2008 (Olympiakos), so it will be very very difficult, but I have a feeling, the series will be 1-1 before Vitoria. Baskonia will play with Shengelia, Janning and Garino, now we are more dangerous.

Contrary to the impression, CSKA is the hottest team right now in the EL, winning 11 out of last 12 games.
and CSKA has never lost a PO series in history.
therefore, I think Baskonia has a chance .

Couple minutes away from the playoffs...Exciting stuff.....I think Baskonia has a decent shot in the series

Baskonia shooting too many contested 3's in the 2nd half...Somewhat understandable when you're behind but very ineffective offense.

Strange thing, may be for the first time ever in the PO lots of people believed CSKA will have a heavy fight, including me... But it turned out much easier. Itoudis seems to know smth after all. The main thing for now - not to take it for granted and stay focused till the last game.

Vildoza, huertas and m.janning scored 15 in total while Sergio Rodriguez scored 19 alone
As I said this is not a fair game

I watched the first half (as the other game started), and Baskonia was actually doing well, leading until the last minute. Rodriguez was just on another one of his crazy nights, a few very tough last sec shots.
CSKA would have won any way, but when Rodriguez is not this hot, things can be more interesting.

Every year is the same in Moscow. In the first quarter Baskonia had Vildoza, Marcelinho and Garino with 2 faults and CSKA did their second fault in the 09:37, doing a similar defense. What I want to say is that Baskonia played better in the first half and CSKA was leading by 4, then in the third quarter it's another history, but until that moment CSKA was in the game with the help of the referees and an amazing Sergio Rodriguez. Every season is the same, those are the fourth series between both games and the referees always helped the same team, I don't know why.
