the first games were not too bad, a few upsets and a few close games. and the starting times were nicely spread out so we could watch at least half of them from this part of the world too.

76ers still seems not have figured out how to play together, and Embiid is still wild and undisciplined. Nets actually might take this series, they're the better team imho with significantly less talent.
in the most enjoyable game for me, Spurs and White stole the HC advantage from the Nuggets.
Portland won their first playoff game in ages, OKC's atrocious shooting helped. Lillard's late daggers were cruel, and Kanter beasted vs his old team.

Wow Raps still legit in PO. Kyle Lowry again with some amazing PO performance - 0 points. This team is something.

I went to sleep when it was +25 or something. then apparently it went up +31, and then they lost it. Wow.
must appreciate the Clippers, they have a no-superstar, hardworking team, and as Rivers said "there is no drama".

Monster game by Siakam. I think Toronto is going to the NBA Finals. There they will have the privilege of getting pummeled by the Warriors.

Referendum game about to begin in Oklahoma City. If they lose tonight I don’t see how the Westbrook/Paul George duo ever recovers.

Season on the line for Denver. If they go down 3-1 they are too young and inexperienced to come back. Even with final 2/3 games at home.

Great win by Denver in San Antonio led by their two young studs Jokic and Murray. I think they might have grown up tonight and now even at 2-2 I think this series is theirs.

East is crazy this season. I literally have no idea who's the best team between Bucks, Raps and Boston. I do tend to think Sixers is one tiny step below, but even that is under question. Semifinals and finals will be very interesting. Bucks rolling all over Pistons, they swept them at home.

I have felt for months that Toronto will come out of the East. I think Milwaukee will lose either to Boston or Toronto. Hard to go from never winning a playoff series all the way to Finals in one year without drastically changing the roster. The team is growing together but won’t make that leap all at once. If I am Toronto I would be more worried with a Boston but they would own home court and too much Boston drama will eventually derail them in the East in my opinion.

Fair enough, but watching third game between Bucks and Pistons, I'm just surprised how many scoring power they do have. I think having Giannis under the boards at both ends is the best you can have today in the east and all NBA. IMO, he's better 2 ways player even than Leonard. With Toronto I think they made a mistake with Gasol. I think their center position is vulnerable defensively, specially when Gasol in the court, and Ibaka is not that good defensively any more. Also Raps is still Raps. Their still choked in the first game and they will be choking again once the pressure grows, they do have that anxiety over their shoulders, specially guy's like Lowry. Boston have a heck of a defensive team, I think they are very well coached and they have plenty of offensive options, much more than Toronto, IMO. Today I'm leaning towards such hierarchy: Boston, Bucks, Raptors, Sixers.

Milwaukee is also missing their third best/most important player (Brogdon) who should be coming back in next round as well. I think over the course of a regular season Giannis is better and more valuable than Leonard. But right now and especially at the end of these playoff games I would rather have Kawhi.

Out of the 3 main East contenders, (forget Philly) the Bucks have the least amount of pressure to get to the Finals.
Like I said they haven’t even won a round yet. Baby steps. The Raptors with a LeBron-less East now don’t have that as a reason or obstacle and they have already made it to the Conference final. So there’s pressure to take the next step. And especially for Boston with major pressure on Kyrie Irving. They have made it to the East finals 2 years in a row without him.
So if he is the difference maker he is supposed to be, he’s gotta do more than that.

I believe confe finals will be going in 2 round on both sides.

    Bucks-Celtics
    Warriors-Rockets

for me this 4 best teams is best built to win in playoofs. They have superstars, have a deep teams, have very good coaches. The only out of picture team is Raptors, but they have rookie coach thats why they are step behind in my mind.

I will say that Celtics will definetely check Bucks experience in tough moments they lack .This is the only Bucks weaker side.Baynes and Horford will give Giannis troubles, when he will go inside. That will not be easy baskets.Irving can exploid in any game.

Warriors vs Rockets for me can even be true nba finals like last year.I would give Warriors only slight advantage 55-45.Those Rockets got everything superstars, are very tough, experienced and very hungry for last year...This can be one of the strongest second round matchups ever, similiar to 2006 Spurs-Mavericks.By level that obviuosly both 60+ wins teams.

Indiana players without Dipo are playing like head cut chicken. All ISO and stupid decisions. Mediocre guards going for their own shots, taking silly jumpers all over again. Guards missing out Turner and Sabonis on pick and rolls, maybe the only true mis-match that Indie could utilize in this series. McMillan handled these series horribly, just imbecile basketball without any flow, the ball is not moving, chucking fiesta.

Celtics officially into round 2, Bucks will likely be there by tomorrow. That should be a good series.

I think it’s gonna be the most intriguing series of the second round. Last year they went 7 games with home court deciding every game. I think this year both teams will win on each other’s home court.
