You mean 2008-2009? Pao wasn't even in Final Four in 2009-2010...

    I stand corrected.

Anyway, the best Fener team was with Bogdan and Udoh. Just steam-rolled everyone in the last 2 months of the season.

    It's either Split 89-91 or Panathinaikos 2008-2009.

Fener has an awesome team this year, though. I honestly don't see how anyone can stop them If they keep playing like this.

It shows consistency, if you win Euroleague one year and not even join F4 in the next year, then you're inconsistent. Obra wasn't consistent with Pao, but his championship rate with Pao is better. But his final four rate with Fener is much better. It depends on your point of view.

2004 Maccabi, 2009 Pao and 2006 CSKA team were the good ones, 2017 Fener probably would beat them though. Bogdanovic had an injury and we finished the season at 5th place for that reason, but then he comes from the injury and beats Pao in the playoffs almost single handedly at Greece and Udoh + Bogdan combination seals the deal in Final Four.

Maccabi with Parker, Saras, Baston, Vujcic, Burnstein, CSKA with Langdon, Vanterpool, Holden, Siskauskas, Smodis, Papaloukas, Andersen (best team in new euroleague era imho), then Panathiaikos with Saras, Batiste, Diamantidis, Spanoulis, Pekovic, Nicholas, Barcelona in 2009-10, Real Madrid with Lull, Chacho and Rudy in their primes, I mean we all remember all those teams.

    Dear motherfuckers,
I don't say that this one is the best roster ever.
Yea, there had been some better rosters than our current one for sure.
But nobody can tell that any of these rosters could play such excellent basketball.
I am talking about what we see on the court, not on the paper.
This team simply can do everything perfectly.

Of course Kinder, Maccabi, Cska, Pao had legendary rosters in 2000's,
Honestly I admit that all of them were better rosters than ours.
But this team plays a lot better...

Btw, I would call Pao 2009 as the best roster ever...

This is the best team in Fener history.

The best team ever in Europe is personal choice and I vote for Maccabi with Parker and Vujcic.

    I'll take '89-'91 Jugoplastika/Split.
Won 3 in a row, Kukoc, Radja, Savic, Ivanovic, Perasovic.
And played well in McDonald's Championships against NBA teams when the gap in talent between the leagues was enormous and the NBA teams took those games serious unlike exhibition games.

Sorry but that's your problem, you should've chosen your words better, if you say ''the best team'' only, of course people would think about the quality of the roster and the players abilities. You should've said ''the best team chemistry'' or ''the best coordinated team'' etc. You can't say ''the best team'' and then complain about the people aren't understanding what you actually meant.

What metter is final four missed ? .In second part of their sojourn in Panathinaikos,2006 til 2012 they were better. They had two faults 2008s and 2010s but won 3 Euroleagues in five years .Style of play, winnings against Cska 2007,Baskonia2007, Cska 2009,Siena 2009,Barcelona 2011 and all that without preetty dramatic finish ,excluding Cska 2009 .Players like Diamantidis,Spanoulis,Jasikevicius,Siskauskas,Bati ste,Pekovic, now Fenerbahce hadnt players of that level. So my opinion is such .

''what metter'' ? Obra with Pana was so bad for 5 seasons they were not even in the Final Four. You can't even compare one of these 5 seasons with even 2015 Fener who played Final Four.

Of course you need to give the specifics on which season, otherwise generally they are obviously not better. I say only 2009 Pana was better, other Pao championship rosters are debatable.

I hope we're all aware that this Fenerbahçe roster is not the most talented ever, not even close. It's probably not possible to bring together such historical dream rosters of Pao, CSKA, Maccabi, with NBA's power. BUT. This team is really dominant in many metrics, both offensively and defensively. It could be said that they are in Top 10 historically in terms of dominance IF they can keep this up in playoffs and final four.

I agree that was the best Fener team ever. That team in the playoff mode would sweep today's Fener. imho.

This competition format is different. Best teams go through. During Obradovic era at Pao, the play-offs were best of three. And the top 16 of a group with four teams was also unpredictable. The best team didn't always go through.

Now the best teams have home court advantage. And it is very hard to beat them in a best of five series. The only question mark is the Final Four. Still anything can happen there.

People speaking about 1995 Real Madrid? Yeah, Obradovic, Sabonis, Arlauckas and nothing more. The other players were too old (Biriukov and Martín) or too average (Santos, Antúnez, Cargol, etc). The team played really ugly, but with Sabonis and Arlauckas, we didnt need nothing special to score, and on defense, Obradovic made a gamrplan to let them fresh.

The best RM was with prime Rudy, prime Rodríguez and non-injured Llull. That team was a joy to watch (3 finals and 1 Championship).
