Dela Cruz? Cone might be on suicide watch if this happens.with no Brownlee,Thailand with Lamb and Morgan on the floor at the same time will be a match up problem.I'm just glad they are not FIBA eligible but in the sea games it may happen.
Rosario did an ok job against those 6’8 SFs in the world cup. Maybe if all else fails..

Should Kieffer make it to the SEA Games roster and Gilas will win the gold, will that make him own the record of the most SEA Games gold in Basketball?

My concern with Ravena being added is that he will most probably be designated as a point guard by Cone. Thing is, he isn't as familiar with his system.

Let's not forget he was the main reason we choked against Angola.

If its all about familiarity with Tims syatem tgat we are talking about, we might as well send 6 players from GSM and 6 from Purefoods... I get you're apprehension and concern, Cone as a Coach knows who are the player that can execute his plays (not necessarily Triangle, players who can adjust and execute even with limited time of practice...

Was it not Perez who had that JR Smith moment? Hahaha

Yes, unfortunately for CJ the rock was in his hands during the last seconds of the regulation. He froze. Dunno what play Coach Yeng drew up, pero salubungin ka ba naman ni Kiefer while shouting for the ball. A few minutes before that, the Phenom's dribbling exhibitions and hero ball cost us the chance to take over the game. Blatche was very furious(seen on cam) because Kiefer refused to pass him the ball at least twice/thrice.

That was all on Yeng, he failed to control what was happening on the court, now whether or not there was a higher power thats forcing Kiefer to play during the 4th qtr is beyond me

That was one or two plays. But before that Perez was the main reason we were in the game. Kiefer in the meantime could not do anything. The few good plays he had were lucky plays like when Almazan got his miss for a putback. Perez was our best player in the tourney, aside from Blatche, Kiefer was just a tad above Barroca despite playing a lot of minutes.

This early, here is my final 12 for the SEAG.

    PG PRINGLE 6'0
    SG LASSITER 6'2
    SF WRIGHT 6'4
    PF AGUILAR 6'9
    C FAJARDO 6'10

    PG ROSS 6'2
    SG POGOY 6'2
    PF/SF ROSARIO 6'7
    PF VIC MANUEL 6'4
    PF/C STANDHARDINGER 6'8

    C SLAUGHTER 6'11
    SF DELA CRUZ 6'4

We're lacking a Norwood type of player who can defend the likes of Morgan or Lamb. Coach Tim should have opted for Parks Jr. instead of Kiefer. Hopefully Lassiter will be 100% healthy.

In fairness to Kiefer, the ran of Gilas started when he came in the 3rd, he may not be pkaying well at that time but his intensity can bd seen, nasobrahan pa nga, which rub off to his co players enabling that big rally from 12 down... Anyway, he was really not gamd shape at that time due to suspension but he is playing well for the ght now for NLEX.. Very effucient and averaging aomost double figures in assist... Perez has better scori g averages but his shooting percentage sucks, around 35 percent, could be because of to much load and defenses strategized against him. This team though should the part of 2023 team especially with Bollick already with ACL, Romeo still inconsistent and Martin's paper is not yet sure if he is really eligible...

If coaching staff from our neighboring countries are reading this, the only way to beat this PH SEA game team is shoot from the threes, that's pretty much it. You don't have to scout this team, lmao. Just watch how Ginebra play and you can pretty much tell that Time Cone doesn't give a hoot about three point shots from their opponent. He'd rather see his player clogged the paint than defend outside shooters. Most teams who defeated Ginebra this conference are high volume three point shooting teams (NLEX, Meralco, Phoenix), I wouldn't be surprised if they lose to TNT later this night.

^This is why I’m opposed to Tim being our coach after the Sea Games. his defensive system is not build for the modern game.

The calssic kiefer ravena play in ot of the angola game.. he dribbled the ball slowly just in time before tge 8 second violation read the defense for 5 seconds was stop on his tracked then back down and dribble for another 5 seconds
.. then slashes and forced to make a difficult shot no one ever touch the ball aside from him on that crucial play.. then Boy Dribol was born..
To becomes Asia's Best, we need to compete against the World's Best..
