Only in the Philippines, you will force a certain player to play for your team because you drafted that player(just like the case of Japeth). IMO you only get that player's right if ever he enter in PBA and not to force him right awayto play just because you drafted him. Even in NBA, there are many Europeans who got drafted in NBA but NBA teams had to wait for years for that players to be available to play for their teams..

Its a bit like cheating. Like Giannis taking the 0 step with a bit of a push/carry dribble. But its good. The other 0 step rule also is significant. The previous rule on dribbling with the 1st step was hard to follow while in motion. The other 0 step rule I saw on the Klay highlight. Rebound/receive ball, fake, one step, dribble, two step, shot.

    Correction:

They now allow a 0 step for contrilling the ball. From a pass you get the 0 step on getting/controlling the ball. Then a legal step 1. Then release the ball to dribble before landing step 2.

From a dribble, you have step 0 when you catch/control the ball and 2 more steps before the layup.

Basically 3 steps. You can dribble a balI, step as you catch the ball. Then do the 1-2. Im thinking of incorporating this in my pickup game after I get my acl surgery. Lets see if the Fiba rules ref calls a travel.

Bong Quinto looks short. If Jackson's 5'9 he is only 6'0 max. Same height as Amer but with longer arms and higher shoulders.

he is a firward trapped in a guards body.. norman black sees him as a halfcourt guard able to post up guards

He has to slim down. PBA guards will run him to the ground.

What position will he guard? Even in the NCAA he's a bad defender.. he lives off post ups and hand offs and midrange jumpers. If he played in the 80s he'll be a good pro

How can you be the best local in the NCAA statistically and have a poor potential in the PBA? This will only get worse with the absence of imports.

Inflated stats? He definitely won't put out the same numbers on a good team. He's skilled but he's too cute undersized and unathletic. He's a homeless man's aljon Mariano. That says a lot about the current level of competition in the NCAA.

There's an AVO sighting today. He sits at the back of TNT bench, could be a practice player. Just a matter of time until he will be called up, he is more serviceable that Golla and Carey should retire...

These guys should not really be playing full time professional basketball, they should look at other careers like Jet Manuel.. I'd say at least a third of the PBA players should be semi pro like MPBL players with long term sustainable day time jobs or businesses. A 6 foot small forward has no business being paid as a full time professional basketball player.
