The US's All-NBA WC pool just lost by 19 pts to the US WC qualifiers team made up of G-League players.

I dont know how Gilas will counter if Serbia goes Boban, Jokic, Bjelica, Bogdanovic and Jovic. In their game against Italy they had a 5 of Boban, Jokic, Bjelica, Guduric and Micic...

In the match vs Serbia I think Yeng will use Rosario also as a 3 (defense included). It simply doesn’t make sense to make him defend the 7 foot power forwards. I would rather use him defending the 6’8 or taller SFs of Serbia. I think they have an everage height of 6’9.

Just give Serbia the win. Save all the energy for Angola and Italy.

Going up against Serbia this year is basically going up against Team USA.

McCullough i think is more ideal in 2023, but he needs to gain a bit of more weight. He will be a very good match up against Japan's Rui Hachimura. I hope AJ and Kai would have NBA type bodies by 2023.

When Kai matures and develop into at least an Asiah Austin level, imagine him and Edu manning the paint. We can then naturalize McCulough and slide down Paras at SG (Since he wants to go the Kobe Mamba route). Tallest lineup we'll historically have

    C Kai
    PF Edu
    SF McCulough
    SG Paras
    PG ravena

    off the bench:

    C JMF
    PF Japeth
    SF troy
    SG Parks
    PG Romeo

    PG Bolick
    SG Perez

Mmm Maybe a good idea. Will Yeng allow his boys na pamasaker or make it respectable?

Or will they go all out in 3 games? Knowing Yeng how he coach he might do the first one.

Did Ildefonso played PG in HS? I recall someone said that. Maybe he can go the Ravena, Bolick Route, eventually convert to a PG

His coach at NU plays him at the point sometimes.

They beat Spain by 9 just a few days after the loss. It’s important to note that it wasn’t a full 40 minute game against the G-League selection. I would give Serbia the advantage, but the US team still has a chance.

Ildefonso plays point forward for NU. At times even at pure point guard. Parks is more of a point guard at this point of his career. And Ildefonso is more of a 2 as well.

Italy has been playing a lot of tune-up games, I hope the scouts are watching the game videos intently.

As for Serbia, I don't think even a line-up of Fil-For Ineligible All-Stars with Clarkson and Blatche can come close to beating them...

Our preparation sucks....even our main PG, Ravena, has not played a single competitive game since his ban a year ago

Not a single Friendly or tune up game against a European country that plays a lot like Serbia or Italy.. Looks like our Gilas are just really aiming to beat Angola...
