In all honesty, Mindozas is right, we could actually held tune ups or exhibition games against world cup bound teams. we can attract many of them due to the proximity of our country to china. i bet this year's jones cup or even merlion cup will host a bunch of world cup-bound teams.

Haha wow that was funny of me. I did see the Lithuanian flag but thought maybe he was Filipino-Lithuanian(like how I'm Filipino-Canadian) and was still referencing Team Philippines. My bad! Carry on lol.

"Then it’s off to Russia in Khabarovsk on Aug. 22 to 25 to play two games against the national team, according to Panlilio."

Not bad; I thought they'll only be playing against club teams. And Khabarovsk seems to be already near Beijing.

While an overseas training camp is what the NT really needs, it is also beneficial if SBP could host maybe 3-4 World Cup teams for a sort of a warm up mini-tournament.

This factor of not scouted sighted by Alapag (below) is one of the main reasons that our Gilas performance in the 2016 OQT and WC window qualifiers is signfificantly lower than the 2014 WC, teams always were prepared for us in the OQT and qualifiers , very different from the 2014 WC. (even the format is different - just 2 games per window and OQT compared to 6 games in WC. We can not underestimate how much a factor that plays in performance

there will be no problem if they get both players.the best scenario is Blatche,Clarkson,Edu and Martin all eligible and available for the world cup.

I'm only open to the idea of AJ , kai and the younger players joining the World cup team because Sandy (whose part of the Batang Gilas) is there as an assistant. If it were just Yeng.. that would not be beneficial .. or hardly..
