There really should be several leagues to absorb pba retireables and midgets. The thing is you want to see skilled retireables and good 2way midgets still have jobs so they can have 15-20 year baller careers. This can allow them to save enough money for their old age. Kawawa naman kung maging security guard na lang ng 7/11 o ministop ang ginebra guards pag tumanda na. Besides, the mpbl crowds are not too demanding and just enjoy seeing their lgu team play well.

Isaac Go won his PBA D-League MVP Trophy. you know the reason why Tim Cone is dying for this guy's services.

I think Justin Baltazar is already ripe for the PBA next year

    https://www.spin.ph/basketball/la-sa...ef=home_feed_5
"A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV

This is quite a deep draft, All Star level stars even in the 2nd round. Assuming Statham, Johnson, and 27 above Williams, McKinney and Brickmann. Assuming Ateneo s graduating guys, Rike and Paras joins. BALTAZAR i think still has one more year for DLSU.

    1.NLEX: Ravena. Nieto, Matt
    2.Columbia: Paras. Ambohot
    3.Meralco: Go. Ebona
    4. Blackwater: Mc Kinney. Manganti
    5. Alaska: Statham. Tolentino, Vince
    6. Global Ports: Brickmann. Dionisio
    7. RoS: Williams. Muyang
    8. PHOENIX: Rike. Bunag
    9.TNT: Santillan. Ahanmisi
    10. Purefoods: Pasaol. WONG
    11. GSM: Tolentino, Arvin. Adamos
    12. SMB: Johnson. Rivero, Prince

If there is no under the table pay, the max pay in MPBL is 50,000, the salary of a practice player in the PBA... Plus more bonuses in the PBA, so the players as much as possible wants to stay in the PBA...

The batch of Slaughter, Sangalang and Almazan has that recognition..

Therr would still be many small guards applying but with the emergence of these Filfor guards, chances are these minions might not get drafted nor sign into contract...
