Baltazar is one of the players I've been following in the collegiate ranks since last year's Fil-oil Flying V Preseason Cup, and perhaps the only big man I've been following (the rest of the collegiate players I've been following are guards & wingmen). But this kid needs to be exposed in international tournaments like the Jones Cup, FIBA Asia Champions Cup or the Dubai International Basketball tournament. He may be impressive in the college ranks but his true mettle could only be measured in a higher level competition where his fellow bigs are bigger, stronger, more skilled & more experienced.

If only Tyrus Hill was healthy it will be a scary tall lineup.

    Bartlett 6"
    Singson 6'4
    Hill 6'5
    Baltazar 6'9
    Bates 6'10

FEUs African player may potentially dominate once Ange graduates...as long as he gets the right training. Just watched Cignal vs Cha Dao yesterday, and Ange had a little bit of a challenge when he was on the floor

The Maagdenberg brothers are in the ADMU pool. Fil-Oil rules is that a team must submit a team roster not to exceed 16 players and team must play this same roster during the tournament. No substitution allowed. Hence, you do not see any of the new recruits of ADMU. The call up from team B were given to Credo and Berjay.

Question who are the guards (good ones) remaining in team B? and how many players are in team B?

Diakhite I think is not that tall. He's 6'8" at most if I remember correctly.

Diakhite has only 3 years max of eligibility left after having played for Diliman College. But UE also has a second African import on reserve as insurance policy to injury. Import is said to be in the 6’ 8-9” range. NU has Gaye and a second taller import who is still raw. UP was said to have 2 imports on reserve waiting to take the place of Bright. I do not think both have completed their residency. Not sure if UST has any other import other than Chabi Yo.

Team B roster can have as many as 16-20 players on their roster but majority of the players were not recruited or current transfers for ADMU varsity. Majority of the guards were former varsity players from Xavier, Zobel, LSGH and AHS. The best of the guard crop is probably former Blue Eagle Juwuan White, one of the last cuts in season 81.

To my knowledge, coach Tab so far has not brought in a guard recruit this year. All of the recruits are either forwards or center. There are 2 guards in AHS who can make the ADMU squad in the future, Padrigao and Espinosa. But Padrigao has 2 years and Espinosa 3 years before they graduate high school. Things may change if a Fil-Something shows up now that school is over. The cousin of current blue eagle Raffy Verano, 6’ 4” swing man, decided to play for DLSU when Coach Tab could not promise a roster spot for season 81. After season 82, Ravena and the Nieto brothers graduate. In season 83, Wong and Mendoza graduates. Is coach Tab keeping a future spot for your son? There is a definite need for heady guards after season 81.
