Dave has to turn pro. He's got nothing else to learn at NU but bad habits.

Pace and Space offense is what we should use for the youth teams imo.

After a few games its very evident how Ayo has put in a good system for this UST team, a far cry from the Boy Sablay days. But what Im impressed with Ayo the most is his ability to get his players to play hard every game and with young players nowadays who are more concerned with making themselves look good that is very hard to do. And his recruiting and eye for talent is great, no one had heard of Abando or Nonoy before they went and played for UST and look at them now just wow!

Well if we want our NT to improve we have to keep up with international basketball.

The contact allowed on drivers prior to the release is pretty significant. I imagine its greater for the bigger players like Kobe.
He is pasmado? I think haha

I dont think Nonoy is unknown. He was UAAP Jrs MVP runnerup, and could been U19 World Cup team saviour had he practice with the team.

I wonder whoever said nonoy will be the hero. Can you and sajubeads quote any? Fact is, fortea sucked so much and I don't think there's any way nonoy will do as badly. The protest didn't really stem from nonoy not in the lineup but from having a fortea instead of a nonoy. If it was between a nonoy and, say, Juan gdl or abarrientos or anyone who isn't as terribly bad as fortea, wla nmn cgrong issue ano? But of course you guys can always conveniently go back to the he didn't practice argument. Terible, this IBN is so full of glorified trolls and pseudo intellectuals.

Its not like Nonoy could’ve helped much. He would’ve been a defensive liability. Sure, he is great in transition but other than that.....he is still very raw. The practice argument is valid....he didn’t go to any despite being invited, at least Fortea actuallt went to practice. “Glorified trolls” but you are the same guy that made an argument about how Charles Tiu looks like an interior decorator instead of a coach lol.

Defensive liability, yeah right. Can there be a worse defensive liability than fortea? What kind of porn have you been watching? Did you see any of those argentine and euro guards posted up our midgets? No, they wreaked havoc because fortea will shoot bricks, turn the ball over and slowly goes down on defense.

And the practice argument doesn't have anything to do with nonoy would have not made any difference or nonoy will be a defensive liability argument. Totally beside the point and is nothing bur a way our of a lost argument.

Wow, you actually think a 5’9 midget guard won’t shoot bricks against those tall euro point guards? Did you see how he went 1/13 against UE? If he did actually bother to attend practices maybe he would’ve been just a little bit better than Fortea. Definitely not a game changer though.

seems that this is more about how IBN still hates Fortea than what Nonoy can really do lol. Hard to compare b/c Fortea has been placed under the microscope of international competition while Nonoy hasn't yet.
