Did Perasol hurt somebody physically lol.
Also Abanto was only suspended one game because they called one unsportsmanlike on that move, and he had another unsportsmanlike in the game itself which led to his suspension. In my opinion they should have suspended him for the act itself, not just calling a retroactive unsportsmanlike. Should have been suspended for their last 3 games.Last edited by FITL; 10-22-2019, 08:25 AM.

Ateneo team management pursued the issue against Abanto given all his incidents when playing the Blue Eagles. Maybe that, plus Will being hospitalized, was a factor that prodded the commissioner to act on it.
Did FEU even raise the Bright-Stockton issue with the commissioner? Probably not because that will give UP the motivation to dig up all the dirt on Stockton as well.
Either way, all these "incidents" should be reviewed, and decided on, by the office of the commissioner, regardless whether teams actually pursue the issue or not (and whether the victim is hospitalized or not).

One thing is clear, Akhuetie was able to get away slamming somebody's face. Clearly outside of any known basketball moves. Imagine him not playing against UE the following game. I doubt if they could have snatched that win..
