1Bataan Risers crowned themselves the inaugural leg champions of the Chooks To Go Pilipinas 3X3 President’s Cup by shocking Grindhouse Kings-Pasig, 19-18, at the SM Megamall Saturday afternoon. The Risers banked on an intense defense and solid three-point shooting by forward Leonard Santillan to take home the top prize of PHP 100,000.00. READ MORE

Its a pity that unlike previous year we werent given free pass to be in 3x3 world cup even in 3x3 world tour..

But with this its tough to name who will be your 3x3 national team especially if chooks insist to insert kobe in the lineup

The chooks to go 3x3 is not a real program but a marketing tool. The champion will be laughable when real international competition is shown.

But when we are starting a program this is one step for it. as without a sponsor.. who will sponsor 3x3 tournaments..this is where all players frommasronnkraft roosevelt adams pringle clarkson statham will be all eligible..

Pero I hope bad habits in this tournament will not be brought in intl como.. as shooting cut basket is good but bullfozing your way if youre undersized isnt right thing to do..

Grindhouse Kings-Pasig exacted sweet revenge on last week’s tormentors 1Bataan Risers to pocket the championship of the second leg of the inaugural Chooks To Go Pilipinas 3X3 President’s Cup, 21-8, Sunday at the SM Megamall. Joshua Munzon converted a two-pointer amidst the tight defense to end the contest early with still 1:27 to play and take home the top prize of PHP 100,000.00. READ MORE

Munzon was pretty good when I was watching. He had a couple sweet slams. Some 3 pointers. Great handles. Statham did well too. Uses his size. Can shoot. Nice floater. Rike was underwhelming as usual. I'd pay to see this team play pba-reinforced teams.

The 1Bataan Risers completed their ascent back to the pinnacle of the Chooks To Go Pilipinas 3X3 President’s Cup by downing no less than bitter archrival Grindhouse Kings-Pasig, 21-19, in an intense finale Friday at SM City Fairview. This also marks the third straight leg that both franchises tangled for the trophy with the Risers atoning for their loss to the Kings last February 24. READ MORE

The opposition may have been new but it was the same old result as the Grindhouse Kings-Pasig marched on to their second championship in the fourth leg of the Chooks To Go Pilipinas 3X3 President’s Cup at the SM Megamall Saturday. Grindhouse got the better of first time finalist Pasig Voyagers in a defensive battle, 14-12, for another trophy and the accompanying PHP 100,00.00 prize. READ MORE

    Well this is great news!

"...league owner Ronald Mascarinas of Chooks To Go delivered the good news during the simple opening ceremonies that FIBA has upgraded the ranking of the President’s Cup to Quest status. This means that the overall champion will automatically earn a spot in the FIBA 3X3 World Tour while opening the door for the third placer to join the runner-up in the qualifiers for the said tour."

The Philippines will inevitably rank in top 3 in the world by 2024. Why? its because of how many 3x3 players fiba registered having high level 3x3 tournaments even if they dont win with the amount of pinoy players in world tour and rankings we just build covered all base to build a strong 3x3 program recognized by fiba.
