Pasig Chooks will once again be going home without the prize as they bowed out of the FIBA 3X3 Poitiers Challenger Saturday evening, Manila time. The world-ranked Filipino squad absorbed a stinging 22-11 quarterfinal setback to Kranj of Slovenia as foul trouble proved to be their bane again. READ MORE

Wilkins Balanga has returned to the top of the roost in the fourth and penultimate leg of the Chooks To Go Pilipinas 3X3 Patriots Cup presented by Coca-Cola after crushing bitter archrival Gold’s Gym Pasig, 21-17, at the SM Megamall Saturday. Alvin Pasaol and returnee Leonard Santillan provided the needed firepower as Balanga finally captured a leg after winning a pair in last March’s President’s Cup. READ MORE

so what tournament we will be hosting the oqt or the much smaller uoqt wher you only need to topple the 6 team field ( the top contender here is mongolia if they didnt get it in oqt)
To becomes Asia's Best, we need to compete against the World's Best..

so we have a better chance of making the Olympics in 3x3 ? from the boss... CELEBRATION TIME!!!

Our 3x3 FIBA Men’s ranking finally landed at #24 to qualify for the OQT after the Grand Finals of the Chooks-to-Go Patriots Cup presented by Coca-Cola last Saturday. We jumped from #28 before the Grand Finals overtaking Canada, Dominican Republic, South Korea and Spain. Note that we started at #60 this year.

All we need now is to protect our ranking until Oct 31. With the third conference in the offing and the qualification of Wilkins Balanga and Phenom Basilan Steel to a FIBA 3x3 Challenger and Masters, we could further rise to the TOP 20.
    s
Maraming salamat po sa lahat ng tumulong to make this happens

BTW can anyone tell me what from here, what does top 24 mean in context of what we need to do to make the Olympics 2020

Phenom Basilan CTC Construction will go home as newly-minted millionaires and Grand Champions of the Chooks To Go Pilipinas 3X3 Patriots Cup presented by Coca-Cola Saturday at the SM Megamall. Basilan needed overtime to take care of Wilkins Balanga, 21-20, to earn the PHP 1,000,000.00 prize and the right to represent the Philippines in the FIBA 3X3 World Tour Masters in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia this October 18 to 19. If ever we qualify for the 3x3 OQT, should we send the PBA players or stick with the current Chooks players?

Thats favoritism at its highest order. What has this fan boys produce? These kids were not able to make it to the aecond round of Asia Cup... By all means, it should be the Chooks to Vets (Statham, Munzon, Pasaol, Rike plus maybe Paras and to satisfy the fangays, maybe Ricci...

there's a reason why sbp keep sending ricci, rjay, amsali. the last tourney, ricci is injured. if they'll get a big prolly troy rike or statham.

not bad 4 actually.. rjay, ricci, kobe and rike or statham.

Only either Rjay or Ricci maybe or may none of both of them... 3X3 is a big kans game, no place for 2minions in the court at the same time. Remember this is not an age group competition anymore, we need experienced guys (3x3),Munzon or Pasaol wouod have the advantage..

Very interested to see how Kristine has improved. She was a pretty close to a phenom when initially discovered. And did she grow? Lol. Eternal question for us Pinoys.

2 bigs and 2 smalls on the boys side. All good players in a 3x3 setting I feel. But intrigued how this will all play out on the court. Pretty sure they won't have Abadiano 5'11" & Fortea 6'0" on the court at the same time. Or maybe they will?
