  • Philippines 2020 Tokyo Olympics 3x3 qualifying

There are 2 ways Philippines can qualify for the 3x3 tournament, with their relaxed eligibility rules and our players capable in 3x3 setting. This might be our best shot at olympics..

you can qualify via being top 3 in the world.. then winning one of three olympic qualifying tournaments

and another qualifying tournament wherethe teams can participate are teams who didnt qualify in the last two olympics..

To becomes Asia's Best, we need to compete against the World's Best..
    1 Big 4 small > 5 out offense.

Is edu available during the ncaa season? The reason i put that four is the availability.. Isaac Go on 3x3 setting? Good luck with that.. rather get bigs like rike, carino than a big like Go..

Upon checking the results of Asian Games Men's Basketball with an age 18-23 Bracket, China won the gold medal game against south korea.
Iran at 3rd place and Thailand at 4th.

            China's team composed of 2-6'1, 1-6'2, 1-6'4.

Sri Lanka was able to send a team, tapos tayo wala.
            We have
Kobe (6'6) Rivero brothers (6'1,6'3) and Rike at 6'8. (pasok lahat sa 18-23 age).

            SBP doing...,.............

Problem is everyone wants a piece of the pie, they should just be together and form one national 3x3 team.

Would be interesting to see how this team would do if they represented the Philippines.

                            They have good size:
                            6'7" Rike (can he bang?)
                            6'6" Statham (see above)
                            6'3" Munzon
6'2" Ababou (is he able to keep up with quick guards?)

Besides size, judging from stats, they all seem to be decent 3 point shooters(very important in 3x3).
