  • 2019 FIBA World Cup u19 Philippine Team

    Hi all the basketball fans of the Philippine (and you are really so many, congratulations !!!) !!!

    I would have two questions for you:

    1) if a young basketball player plays for one of the Philippine youth team, he will definitely play for the senior national team, or is not sure?

    2) in the U-18 Asian Championships on 2018, then it would be possible to see this STARTING FIVE?
    Jeron Artest (2001; his mother says he will ask the Philippine passport);
    Ron Harper JR (2000; sixteen years this year ... do you know if he has the Philippine Passport?);
    Ariel John Edu (2000; he has already the Philippine Passport since he was two years old !!!!);
    Tai Sotto (2002 o 2003 ??? Being the son of Ervin Sotto, I imagine has already requested the Passport);
    Ethan Kirkness (2002; he took the Philippine Passport this year !!!)

    FROM THE BENCH:
    Eli Ramos (2000???; I think he has just the Philippine Passport)
    Kamaka Hepa (2000; I don't know if he has Passport)

    Do you can think of other interesting names?

    Thanks for your answers!!!
    An Italian "jealous" of the passion and organization of the Philippine Basketball Federation!!!

          Hey, Mamuyac did block Curry fair and square. He is a pretty good defensive player. Remember he was the best player the last time we defeated China (U-17). If Mamuyac transitions to a guard he'll have a bright future. Long wingspan, decent athleticism.

            1.4 steals and 0.8 blocks per game in the recent U-18 tournament. Had one block each against China and Korea, and two against India.
            Keep running, big boy.

                  Oh, I never intended to downplay Gian's skills or athleticism. Just thinking that he might be the next Pinoy basketball internet meme.
