    IN PREPARATION for its eighth season set to open this coming August 31 at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City, the Universities, Colleges and Schools Athletic Association (UCSAA) is looking forward to presenting a tournament with an expanded number of participating varsities. This was confirmed by league officials recently as they also announced the appointment of young and dynamic Commissioner Steve Leonard Marucot to oversee the league. READ MORE

    Top seed Saint Dominic Savio College clinched the first championship slot for the Eighth Universities, Colleges and Schools Athletic Association (UCSAA) by downing a very tough College of Saint John Paul II, 76-72, in semifinal action Monday at the PhilAm Homes Clubhouse. The Unicorns will have to wait for their opponent after defending champion ICCT Colleges extended their series with Pasig Catholic College into a winner take all match this Wednesday at the same venue, 85-82.     AS PART of the preparations for their ninth season later this year, the Universities, Colleges and Schools Athletic Association (UCSAA) will conduct a preseason tournament starting May 25 (Saturday) at the AMA University Gym in Quezon City beginning at 11:00 AM.
