Serbia has a 6'11 center, which is so good. Most teams don't have tall player this time.

He's nursing an injury, so he won't dominate most likely like what he did during the U16. Cazalon, Maledon and Miyem should also carry the team, and maybe guys like Gauzin (i wish, he's from my city) will perform well too as they are not necessary expected/scouted.

Some unexpected results from D1 first games, Puerto Rico victory over Turkey, Egypt domination of New Zealand and Australia scare in the narrow comeback win vs DR.
Watched Canada comfortably beating a somewhat deceptive Montenegro, with an outstanding performance in the final quarter. After a close (and dull) Q1, the talented Canadian team took the lead, opening the gap wide in the last 10 minutes. Fine shooting display of Sakota, with the whole team contributing in attack and dominating the boards.

Mali has two impressive prospects in Siriman Kanoute and Oumar Ballo (02’ born, solid NBA prospect with an extraordinary body)

                    Who is this announcer?

Ugly USA-Mali game today, hope the US gets their injured players back.

Serbia is surprisingly out, eliminated by a competitive Turkish team by a wide margin. Ugly game of Serbian boys after a good Q1, with so many mistakes in attack and totally lost at rebounding, especially on offense.

Australia continued struggling today, but still winning vs Mali.

It's not necessary Serbia which is bad (even though some serbs here already warned this generation was so so despite Pazin), that turkish team seems legit. They seem to have a good balance, a good frontcourt as usual but some good guards too.

Tough game for us especially because of our last opponents who were giving up quite fast in second half.

The good thing being that our team is taking a much better care of the ball last 3 games. The rebound might be a problem though. otoh foul trouble might be a problem for the turks if our backcourt keeps agressing their frontcourt.
                        We will see.

US finally hit some threes is the second half against the Dominicans, but despite being dominant this is not an aesthetically pleasing team. Surprised that Zion Harmon got cut after being their best outside shooting threat last year.

I am glad we are going to play competitive games with quality teams until the last day of the tournament by advancing to quarter finals. Not the big fan of Mustafa Kurtuldum, he is a talented one but hardly can be counted as something special due to some flaws in his gameplay, however I need to give him credit for his general performance in this tournament. He looks he stepped up one level more in this tournament. Hope he continues this performance against superb talented French team tomorrow. Will be hard, however we have a pretty good chance against them, as the potential of frontcourt in Şengün and Haltalı is enough to break through French team's paint.
Sports is not only considered as a superiority of physical capability. Perception, intelligence and morality assist it as well. The strong with less intelligence and comprehension can not cope with the less strong but with sufficient intelligence and comprehension. I like the sportsman who is intelligent, agile as well as morally upright.

France backcourt is so impressive with 3 potential NBA players (Hayes, Maledon and Cazalon) + Crusol who did a great job as a 6th man but their frontcourt is a bit too week I think without dominant players in the team.
If I remember Turkish won against France during the preparation but Hayes was injured but I'm not sure about that...
Great game for Killian Hayes (Cholet Basket), Malcom Cazalon (ASVEL) and Th?o Maledon (ASVEL) with U17 France in a friendly game (8 June 2018). Hayes showed ...
