Sekou Doumbouya, who was already a member of U18 squad that won gold last year and elected in the tournament first team, would be the best prospect amongst 2000 born french players but he won't be there this year.

Crusol and Miyem were both in the team who's got the silver medal at WC U17 few days ago.

Nice comeback from Turkey in the opening game against Germany. Akay showing great leadership, knows and understands the game. He already has a mature feel for the game. I like the composure in him. Good decision maker. I really missed to watch a player like him in youth tournaments under Turkish NT jersey.

                          One down, more to go.
Sports is not only considered as a superiority of physical capability. Perception, intelligence and morality assist it as well. The strong with less intelligence and comprehension can not cope with the less strong but with sufficient intelligence and comprehension. I like the sportsman who is intelligent, agile as well as morally upright.

Again I missed the game (this summer is terrible for me). Akay is good. I liked his non-flashy but smart game last year, and he can be a leader of this team, esp considering apparently bad shape of Eray Akyuz, who seem to have a terrible game (only one game maybe?). the "big scorer" Kurtuldum has never been convincing, and it shows.

Watched most of the Greece - Italy game. Rogkavopoulos, who was apparently the u16 divB MVP last year, was killing it, 32 pst & 12 rbs. some really tough shots too.

Serbia managed to loose the game against Lithuania having bigs who dominated under the rim and 15 pts advantage. Lithuanian guards are way more talented and that passion from Lithuanian team in 4rd quarter (it was won 34-16) was great.
