In their last game of the season, the Blazers lost to the Warriors. The good thing is that Patty had 23 points and 5 rebounds in 29 minutes. He was 4/7 for three pointers. That was definitely an NBA career high for him!!
"I really like the attitudes of eagles. They never give up. When they grab a fish or something else, they never let it go. It doesn't matter. In a book, they write they find a skeleton of [an] eagle and there is no fish. It means that the fish beat him and killed him, but he didn't let go." -- Donatas Motiejunas

    Good read.

Patty Mills opens up on what spurred him on to take his chance in the NBA

Mills did a good job in plugging in for Tony Parker when the latter missed some games due to being dealt by multiple injuries. As the playoffs are nearing, Mills can use that confidence and momentum.

26 points by Mills tonight as the Spurs beat their Texas rivals, the Mavericks. He did more than as a sub-starter for Parker.

Owning the 3rd bigtime. He and Ginobili lead the barrage and Spurs are going to be champions. Congrats to Baynes too.

Mills will miss seven months of activity post surgery of his shoulder rotator. The good news is that Mills is still garnering interest from NBA teams, the Spurs included.

Mills and the Spurs have agreed to a 3 year contract despite Mills won't be playing until early 2015.
