Ah....but still think showbiz pays better than balers as Xian lim could have been a joseph yeo like player in uaap.

Gerald Anderson is just a player who is good in hs recreational level..

This MPBL.while the concept is good is turning into a circus. I wont be surprise if fledging NBL Philippines will outlive MPBL since NBL is really a pure grassroot league ...Lets see how these 2 leagues unfold.

Game between UP, MPBL Team Muntinlupa Ends Up in Fight

By Norman Lee Benjamin Riego on Aug 19, 2018 12:19 PM

Bright Akhuetie found himself at the center of a free-for-all fight between UP and MPBL team Muntinlupa
A tune-up game between the University of the Philippines and Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League team Muntinlupa last Saturday ended in a free-for-all fight.

In a video shared by a source, Dhon Reverente of the Cagers was seen to have crossed paths with Fighting Maroon Bright Akhuetie sometime in the second quarter of their game inside Ayala Alabang Village in Muntinlupa.

From there, Akhuetie stopped moving and appeared to be favoring his stomach area before rushing at Reverente.

The two then traded punches and not long after, witnesses said that both benches cleared.

Telling his side of the story, UP’s Nigerian powerhouse claimed that all that happened was Muntinlupa’s plan all along. “I was going to set a screen when he punched me. I couldn’t breathe for a few seconds,” he shared.

    how about Makati Coliseum?

MPBL Commissioner Kenneth Duremdes confirmed this after he was informed that the Makati Skyscrapers, who were supposed to host their first home game in the Datu Cup, were not able to get a clearance from the Dasmariñas Village Homes Association.

I've wondered why did he play for our Nat'l team, His team schedule is flexible and can offer himself to the Pool... Is he doesn't like Gilas now?

Can a selection of the best MPBL players be enough to send to SEA games and win gold?

The game intervals are too much. Even the interest of the locals are starting to die down.
    LABAN PILIPINAS!
