  • Adriatic basketball league 2017/2018

From this year we will have Adriatic league 2. division too.

    Some Cedevita news:

    - New coach is Jure Zdovc.

    - Currently on the preparations he can count on those players: Will Cherry, Demetris Nichols, Andrija Stipanović, Toni Katić, Karlo Žganec, Toni Perković, Darko Bajo, Džanan Musa, Antonio Jordano.

    - Marko Arapović and Lovro Buljević right now are not with the rest of the team, they're injured.

    - Kevin Murphy and Chris Johnson are expected to join the team in the next couple of days.

    - Ivan Ramljak, Roko Leni Ukić and Filip Krušlin are with the Croatian national team.

    - Free agents Franko Kaštropil, Miro Bilan, Nik Slavica and Sven Smajlagić are also on Cedevita preparations although they aren't their players, club basically allowed them to work with rest of their team to stay in shape before they find some club to play.

Yesterday Cedevita played their first preparation game versus Enisey. They won 74 : 68.

    Team versus Enisey:
    Smajlagić, Cherry 13, Katić 5, Nichols 14, Perković 3, Slavica 2, Musa 8, Bajo 3, Žganec 5, Stipanović 14, Kaštropil, Bilan 7.
Due to his elegance and imagination, Mirza Delibasic was one of the continent's greatest ever players.

Champions from ABA2 goes to ABA, and last spot in ABA go to ABA2, keep in mind that these clubs in ABA2 are very medicore teams so there would be no point promoting more than 1 club to ABA, atleast in beggining

ABA league got a new sponsor deal with MYD company(i cant find any info on this company, its hard to believe it is MYD of BlackRock fundation???) for 8 years ABA will get 15 million euros, from this season on ABA league will pay for all expenses of refs and other technical staff, clubs will get money for travel expenses and accomodation
there will be ABA junior competition with 10 teams participating
