    • I think his main criticism was his lack of aggressiveness. He may have turned a corner in that regard.

He looks kinda heavy now though and not as athletic

          • Blackwater provided that they actually try to win is a good fit for him.

Where he cant take a seat back. He needs to score for his team or no one else will

that's what he did during his 1st season with alab.. with imports who will not even cut as PBA imports, BRP jr. always scores in high 20's to 30's.

because he is prioritizing balance.. without balance his jumpshot will be inconsistent and cannot take advantage on misnatches against guards

Maybe he feels the fats will help him withstand all the pounding in the PBA. If thats what it takes for him to play with confidence again, so be it.

                    • He discovered after banging bodies with bigger guys in his 1/2 position in the G-League that his optimum playing weight was around 215lbs.

Very correct. Its not hypocrisy or flip flopping to criticize or utter some negative comments on someone's shortcoming or failure and commend or credit the same guy for his accomplishments or good performance.

Some posters here need to understand this.

We just see it as it is.

                        • Nice to see Rayray Parks being assertive in that game vs. Ginebra. Parks used to be passive in offense a few years ago. Parks just need to polish his outside shooting. He will be a big player in the PBA and a vital component of the National team as well if he improves his 3-pt. shooting

Not to mention him being a big guard at 6’4 (even at international standards). Definitely a matchup problem

Even when he was lighter, I don't see Parks as that athletic. I think Rayray's athleticism is only a bit above average. He doesn't have the athleticism of a Vergel Meneses, a Nelson Asaytono, a Gabe Norwood or a Danny Seigle.

He once held the ABL record for most 3-pt shots in a game and averaged 40% at one point during the ABL regular season.
