In addition even tough he is not an athletic player ,Gasper Vidmar is pretty good defender He also has very good character. He has the size and toughness ,he is very good rim protector.
Center will be athletic, quick and mobile. Possible with long arms. Maybe Slaughter from Dara.

Vasilje Mičič can replace Leo Westermann, at the PG/SG/SF positions. Your thought about it?

Can someone please write about his playmaking + passing ability, court vision?

Micic is committed to Efes, so I don't know about the rumors.

          Regarding Vasa:

          - He was hailed as a heir to Teodosic when he retires, when he was a youngster. He was phenomenal at age 18-19 already but then had two bad injuries that slowed down his progress, tearing his ACL once and MCL the other time.
          - He has an excellent size for PG spot and length. He uses it well to attack the basket and he is still quite athletic despite his injuries. He has also gotten stronger.
          - Excellent shooting stroke and technique, he is a standard 50% 37-8% 80+% guy.
          - He can create quite well, especially off of penetration. Still he needs to improve his PnR game. He had a great stride this year in Tofas in that regard, still he is not an elite PnR runner.
          - He needs to improve the consistency on defense. He has length and size to guard anyone but sometimes he disappears on defense and he gets lost.
          - Injury history is a bit of concern (same as Westerman actually).

You can take a look at the video to see his game and prospect:

Well so far from the signings one can assume that Zalgiris does not aim to be much better next year. The aim is not to be worse. Probably issues with the budget will hold us back several years more.

Tnaks for the info. He was commited with Efes, but now Turkish and Lithuanian press are saying, that Žalgiris and Valencia has the best chancess to take Mičič with them. We can offer Mičič a bigger role, than Valencia, opportunitty to develope next to the Šaras and a decent payment, around 350k per year. He could defend PG/SG/SF positions, finish and shoot better than Westermann. We lose creativity, but not so much. We could live with it.

I don't think you would lose, if at all in creativity. You would lose a bit in scoring potential. Vasa is a pure pass-first guy. He rarely takes over the game scoring, it's not his nature. Even though he has the tools.

Žalgiris is getting better for sure. Why? We lacked athleticism, better scoring from guards, and switches on defence. Aaron White is good at defence on perimeter, he's very athletic, good(maybe very) at rebounding, worst from 3pt range, but you got to sacrifice something, because those players with ability to shoot earns around 1mil and play for CSKA or Fener Also, he is not the starter, only role player. Mičič would be great, if it's true, that he is good at finishing and shooting, than Leo. If Mičič comes, we will need SG/SF (athletic and good at scoring and defence) and C (good at defence, very good at rebounding, athletic).

But everyone are sayng, that he is a very good finisher and a decent shooter. Leo was very bad at those two things, but he was great at passing and running PnR. If thats the case, not so happy now We needed a better finisher than Leo

He is better shooter and finisher than Leo. It's not an issue of skills. He has them. It's an issue of mentality. He is a team oriented guy that is a pass-first guy. He would much rather assist than score. That is the issue. Of course, that can be coached. If Saras wants him to attack and score, he can do it.

This year in Tofas he averaged:

27 Minutes a game, 13.2 points a game, 2.6 rebounds a game and 4 assists per game. He did it on 56.3% shooting for 2 and 38.8% shooting for 3 and 82.9% from the FT line.

Thats great news Just got to wait and see what he decaids, but I can see, that we are the best opption for him, because:
                          a) Šaras is the coach every PG should want to be coached.
                          b) Starting the EL games
                          c) Minutes
                          d) Role in the offence
                          e) Šaras makes every player fit in the roster perfectly, he gives them currage and "balls".

Any suggestion for SG/SF spot? He could be a little bit expensive (for us), around 300-400k. Could get a 20+ minutes, sometimes start games. He should be able to shoot and he should be athletic, good defender. Could it be Chriss Babb or James Anderson. Or they are too expensive for us?

With Micic on the roster, Pangos will be used more as a SG, since Vasa is really a PG and losses a lot of efficiency in SG role. Pangos can play more of a Bobby Dixon role as a shooting guard and scoring. Something he can do.

As for a good idea for SF, bring in Grigonis he should be able to help. Then get an athletic C to run PnR with and defend/rebound.
