USA final roster:
Bella Alarie 6-5 (Princeton)
Jeannie Boehm * 6-3 (Harvard)
Chennedy Carter * 5-9 (HS 2017)
Crystal Dangerfield 5-6 (UConn)
Tyasha Harris * 5-10 (South Carolina)
Ruthy Hebard * 6-4 (Oregon)
Joyner Holmes 6-3 (Texas)
Kayla Overbeck 6-1 (Vanderbilt)
Reili Richardson 5-10 (Arizona State)
Alecia Sutton 6-0 (Texas)
Megan Walker * 6-1 (HS 2017)
Christyn Williams 5-10 (HS 2018)
* 2016 U18 Americas team members.
Selection committee chose nine players with NCAA experience, leaving out HS stars like Cooks, Collier and Westbrook. Youngest player is Williams (2016 U17 WC team 2nd scorer). Dangerfield is at her second U19 WC. Among NCAA players, Hebard and Holmes were prominent in the past season. Somewhat surprising choice Alarie was a later sub of Tori McCoy, who withdrew.
From first impression, it's however difficult to find here the same level of Aja Wilson and Napheesa Collier (2015 U19 WC).
