      Anwil without stars

Ales Pipan who re-sign contract with Anwil, is now in Slovenia where think about NT for Spain 2007. He think also about Anwil, but here are little problems. Team didnt have moneys for Otis Hill and Goran Jagodnik - both players want earn more than in last season. Hill want teams from Spain, so he can more wait. Club probably in next week will sign contract with new player(s) - also with Andrzej Pluta, who said that he want end his career in Wloclawek.

        Germany Welcome To .

Here are the rules for polish/foreigner players for 2007/2008: minimum 4 polish players in match roster, 1 polish players always play and there is no difference in hiring players from Europe/Cotonou/Other countries, so you can even have 8 US players in the match roster.

I like some of the coaches we have in DBE, so it will be interesting how they will work with this rule and will our league become BBL vol 2.0, or not. I can see the most poorest teams going for a lot of cheap Americans, but teams like Polpak or Czarni (not mentioning Prokom, Turow, Anwil and Slask) can do better than it. We'll see.
Why you should going out to get a hamburger, if you can get steak at home?

I think whichever team (from the most ambitious group) will decide for 8 americans will have their arena full, make some upsets, but in general dissapoint, just as it was obvious with some teams in Germany or euroleague...

              Here are all changes:

              - every team has to have in their game roster 4 players with Polish passport,
              - the number of Americans in the roster are without any restrictions,
              - after the regular season teams from places from 5 to 12 will play in pre play-off,
              - after the regular season teams from places from 1 to 4 will play in the Final Four of Polish Cup,
              - teams would play in semifinals and finals in the best of seven series,
              - there will be All Star Game and game where Polish NT will play vs. foreign all star team,
              - trade deadline is on 15th of February 2008.
