I was hoping Jimmer Fredette will play lol. But anyways this is still a strong team with some members in China B and Taiwan national team.

Chris Tang is a possible late inclusion for Shanghai, the former hyped prospect and D-League Iowa player.

I wonder what the makeup of this team be like, if say half of the team is americans (Like in Jones Cup) then they would be heavily favored to
win this tournament, more so because this is lesser competition vs jones cup.

They will probably win this tourney easily. Front court too strong and 2 ex NBA players. I don't know any of the Filipino players except Dutchman and Brickman. Jason is one hell of a pg, they need a shooter to complete the team (if they dont have one yet)

Surprise! Shanghai sharks jimmer fredette will be playing and also another NBA rookie drafted in first rd. Seems like it will be a pretty legit tournament. They will probably contest the cup with mighty sports.

To becomes Asia's Best, we need to compete against the World's Best..

Surprised to find Matthew Wright in the line up. He should be playing for the 2016 FIBA Asia Challenge-bound Gilas cadet team instead.

From what I've heard, he begged off from playing for Gilas becoz he is injured.
"A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV
