Glad to hear they'll be broadcast live,
my wife thinks it is insane that I watch basketball with no announcers and 37 people in the stands.

          malaska.

          youtube is allowed here.

“Hindi ko na inaano ‘yun (mapasama sa pool) eh,” Santos said. “Kung susumahin mo ang buhay naming mga player, ‘san ba talaga ang first priority namin, ‘di ba? Ang first priority ko, dahil dito ko nakuha lahat ng kagandahan ng buhay ko at para sa pamilya ko, ang San Miguel. Alam naman ng lahat ‘yun. Ito ang dapat kong paglingkuran.”

I watched 3 games today, China is clearly the favorite here, Iran has a good team here but I doubt they can challenge China, even though playing at home can help.

btw, Iran Sport (varzesh) Channel broadcasted 3 games live today and will do the same tomorrow and probably for the rest of the tournament, 10:00, 12:00 and 18:00 games.

                      88-74 Taiwan over the Philippines. (18-19, 11-30, 16-21, 29-18)

Taiwan U18's confidence is sky high after that experience in the Worlds, allowing them to demolish the Filipinos in the 2nd quarter.

Impressive run by the Philippines in the 4th quarter, coming back from down 26 to come within 12, just came up short in the end.

It has been said that if it's not from behind, it's not Philippines basketball.

Saw the replay of the JPN-KOR game. Korea's read and react game proved to be too much for Japan. Japan's Mikami and Nishida were forcing too many shots and almost hit for nothing.

It was a good game for India, hanging in the 1-3 quarters against China until China played angry in the 4th quarter to finish the game strong. China got its first acid test early.
