But I believe it's going to kick in soon and a lot of people will be shocked of the sudden physical changes. The only real issue in his game is his quickness to defend at the perimeter. Stamina and his "fluctuating" effort level which, I think are actually interrelated, also needs to be addressed but that is probably because of the extra weight he's put on. We know they intentionally put on those extra weight for the u19 and continued as he resumed play for TSF. I think what I'm trying to say will easily be understood by those who workout to put on weight and bulk (heavier weights but fewer reps = bulkier muscles, lighter weights but more reps = leaner but with more stamina)
Stronger but easier to tire out. These will all go away once kai's body grows on its own and his workout will shift from being focused on bulking up to a more stamina focused one.
I dont think any scout will consider ethnicity. Just like "Player A is an asian,. so his issues on strength and stamina will not be a problem". It sounds racist and disrespectful actually.

But yes. Kai will still mature. He will fixed that body problem as he grow older. He just turned 18 today.

Kai will be a good player in nba barring injuries and racism

Of course they won't and I don't think they are even aware of that. But that will factor in soon.

I don't think that's racist tho, it's just a reality that they have yet figured out just like many of us hasn't figured out that there's only one human race, just varied ethnicities, skin tones, cultures etc
We have this chance to fit JC in the gilas team, why are you putting in effort on finding ways to exclude him?

I taught Kai will announce his decision today(his 18th birthday).

He is literally the only one in top 100 that did not announce yet. Haha

It’s technically still Sunday night as of writing here in California so there’s still a chance he does tomorrow (here). Hope we hear from him soon!

Kai Sotto — a 7-foot-2 center from the Philippines — has decided to skip college and will be the first international draft prospect to sign a deal in the NBA G League pro program, sources tell @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium.

    As I predicted.

Practically, Kai will accept that offer. Because he needs money also.

At the same time he will face elite competition. And more importantly, have competent teammates

Mix of Jokic and Porzingis, Jokic in terms of passing and iq while Porzingis in terms of skills and body type. Hes obviously not at their level in each category but thats mostly how he play.

    Pg: Nix - ?
    Sg:Green-$500k
    Sf-?
    Pf- Todd - $300k
    C- Sotto- ?

A lot of people worrying Kai will not get touches. But I believe Nix is a good playmaker. He will distribute the ball equally

    How true is this?

Sources tell KSR that this deal has been in the works for over a month and agreed upon for several weeks now, with one additional international player also having a deal in place to join in the near future. Another source adds that Jalen Green – a consensus top-three prospect in the senior class, who signed with the G League’s new NBA pathway program back in April – hand-picked Sotto to join him on the roster.

It is possible for us to have a Martin, Clarkson, Green, Edu, and Sotto five for the Asian games.

A team with Jalen Green and Kai will have hordes of Pinoys watching the games. Let's hope it's based in a Filipino-dense area like Cali.
