Ahmad ibrahim just scored 36 points for homenetmen, and outplayed all foreigners in the game.
Homenetmen won 114 - 102 over Champville. This will be the year Ahmad ibrahim explodes.Comment

We are not watching lebanese league anymore, its lebanese league for foreigners.
What a disaster, apart from Riyadi, Homenetmen, Champville rest of teams are just foreigners playing and not lebanese.
Riyadi cause they have best lebanese players, Homenetmen because of ahmad ibrahim and champville because they have ghassan sarkis as coach not giving total reign to his foreigners.
The worst is Moutahed, 95 % of their score is always foreigners.Comment

Most team foreigner scored: mouttahed 255 points, 86 % of their points.
Most team lebanese scored: champville ( 130 ) points , 42 % of their points. Homenetmen 122 points ( 45 % of their team points).
Till now Homenetmen been best lebanese wise, due to ahmad ibrahim.Comment

One thing I can notice is that Ahmad is still a very emotional player and this can easily affect his game... Cuz if he gets frustrated he easily loses focus and this can have a negative impact on his team...
Moreover I don't think Ahmad's performances will be very stable this season.. Meaning that he can have a great game in 1 game and then play bad in the second.. Consistency is something he needs to work on developing for sure...Comment

Riyadi - in a planet of their own. They can play with just 2 foreigners instead of 3 and win this league. They have near monopoly over best lebanese players. Their top scorer is AAron Harper with just 16.6 ppg, which just shows how much weapons they have that their score is always distributed between bench and starters. All this, and Fadi el Khatib is soon coming to join them.
Homenetmen - been the most exciting team in the league, alot of alley ooops and dunks. They have very intresting foreigners, Justin Tubbs - Dewayne Jackson keep dunking and throwing alley oops to each other. Then they have Norvel Pelle, who is block machine ... he is so athletic and flies on everybody else. Top protector of the rim in the league. Ahmad Ibrahim is exploding for them as well. Best Lebanese scorer/player this season with average 21.7 ppg.
The reason they wont win the title, their bench is atrocious.
Sagesse - A team in mess. They have like 9 - 10 players out of 12 man roster that are shooting guards and point guards. They need to change their foreigners, and bring in 2 foreigners at position 3 and 4. Because lebanese wise their team is full of players at position 1 & 2. Right now they play 2 point guards as starters, and 2 shooting guards + center Jarrid Famous. They also have financial problems, with lot of their players and coach not recieving their salaries.
Tadamon - The most organized team in the league. Thanks to having Serbian coach, and 2 serbian foreigners.
Mouttahed - This team is the most unlikable team in the league. Because their 3 foreigners keep putting up 95 % of their score, and their lebanese players do absolute jack all in games.
Champville - Their lebanese players are putting up numbers but they need some better foreigners at small forward and center position. Defensively they dont sound a good team either.
Hoops - The team with average foreigners, but the stand out is Lebanese point guard Ali Mezher who is topping the assists chart and elevated his game even more this season over last year.
Louaize - the team with 0 wins, average lebanese and average foreigners. They are losing by small gap, but they do lack alot. ONe big problem they have, their spacing is atrocious and they have no 3 point shooters.
Byblos - the big disappointment of the season to now, came in with large budget and pretty much signed all the lebanese power forwards/centers and build their team around 3 foreigners that play position point guard, shooting guard and small forward. Steve Burtt came with lot hype, but proving to be vastly overrated by now. Selfish, and destructive to his other teammates especially Jay Youngblood.Comment

Ghassan Sarkis pretty much fought everyone on this planet.
He fought with ex-lebanese federation, he fought with current lebanese federation.He thinks himself he should be only one eligible to coach lebanese NT.
He fought with all major teams, claims hoops should be in second division and leave first division. Fought with Sagesse fans. He even fought internally within his team, and kicked a financial backer out..
Now the latest, he is fighting referees...and some referees refusing to referee games involving ghassan sarkis. so latest game between champville - tadamon started 30 minutes late. until a solution was reached with referees.Comment

Byblos lose again, in complete mess now. Build a team around 3 foreigners at point guard, shooting guard, small forward..
and signed most of lebanese center/power forwards. now they find themselves 1 win 4 losses.
just shows how bad we are at center/power forward, and superior in guard play. they need to sign now a foreigner center...but will fuck their team because they dont have good lebanese guard.....

Byblos coach just resigned, and Byblos got rid of Steve Burtt. Not sure if Byblos coach now goes back on his resignation, with burtt gone.
