I have a feeling Spain can win it, but I wouldn't put my money on it.
But I was surprised how cold blooded they looked against Greece. That superb generation of Spain players are finishing their carier, getting old, but they still have few bulets left. If they will be able to hold atletic game France likes, they have a chanse.

Guess i share the same feelings as the rest of the Spanish fans. Can't see Spain winning this but it happened the same against Greece so let's see.

Both teams fantastic in defense, intense. Spain defending better, France controlling the rebound.

Now I fear the third quarter of Spain. France will have no mercy if they smell blood.

Enjoying the game so far. Parker still looks out of form but I wouldn't be surprised if he steps up in the second half.

I'm not informed, Sergi Ibaka isn't playing in this Eurobasket because of Scariolo? He didn't call him in the nt selection? Wow.

Spain is more organized in offence. France cannot play set offense so they can only penetrate. Tony Parker is playing like Mr Longoria while Serrod & Llull are dominating with fast key passes.

It is like Spain will win the game.

Loved that sequence with the block on Batum and then Diaw on the other side absorving the contact and driving Gasol mad! What an intensity.

No game plan on France side. Playmaking zero. Spain can count on upset if this goes on, they are showing warrior spirit.

Yes. Scariolo chose Mirotić instead of Ibaka.

France with De Colo as PG plays 100 times better than with Parker, who is defending very bad (Chacho is doing whatever he wants with him).

Ibaka has been injured during the season at Oklahoma.

Spain is really defending very well (exception to that wide open 3pt by Fournier) during the 1st half. Lots of aggressiveness defending the off-the-ball screens and great job by Llull guarding Tony!

    That's the 1 naturalized FIBA-rule per squad.

Ah, that was something I didn't know. Thanks for the replies, guys.
Let's enjoy the 2nd half (or die from nervousness in case of our Spanish or French members of our forum )

Tony Parker is a black hole in defense

De Colo is the best short player in Europe. Are there any possibilities to go back to NBA again?
