Thread: Eurobasket 2015 All-Tournament Team

  1. #1

    Default Eurobasket 2015 All-Tournament Team

Which players are making a case for themselves for the All-Tournament Team with their performances so far?

Sorry for misspelling Nemanja's first name. I was rushing because there is a time limit.

    So far I would say,
    Parker
    De Colo
    Bjelica
    Vesely
    Gasol

With Nowitzki and Valanciunas as honorable mentions.

My choices are based only on those two games and most likely are gonna change but so far i'd say

    G/Parker
    G/Simon
    F/Gallinari
    F/Bjelica
    C/Gasol

I wrote this before the buzzer beater..
most impressive performance of any player on the tournament so far.
sure, the fact he is a first option in belgium helps but in 3 games he is averaging more then 60% for 2 pts and 50% for 3

One monster game doesn't make you an All-Tournament player. He is the best Lith player this tournament, but overall until this game he had pretty good performances, not awesome.

    My choices are;

Tony Parker (I think he doesn't deserve to be here with his performance until now but there is no other PG performs better than him)
    Nando De Colo
    Nemanja Bjelica
    Jan Vesely
    Pau Gasol

Satoransky, Teodosic, Schroeder, Koponen and even Calathes are having a better Eurobasket than Parker. Tony is looking awful on the court, pretty much the same way he fell apart this year in the NBA. He hasn't shown up.

If there'd be starting 5 of biggest dissapointments, I'd put Parker as nr1 candidate there, no idea how can he be in All-tournament team... His rkg in last two games combined was 0. maybe he'll deliver in later stages, but so far he showed nothing to be among top 5 players, even top5 PGs

    Teodosic/Satoransky
    Bellinelli/Spanoulis
    Gallinarri/Maciulis
    Bjelica/Printezis
    Gasol/Fesenko

Satoransky over Parker is an easy choice right now, but I would say chances are France will move on and the Czechs will not so Parker will have at least one more game than the Czech. The Wizards looks pretty good for drafting him right now.
