WKBL Draft in 29th of October 2016.

HS Phenom Park Ji-Su headline the draft and the most interesting scenario for her is to skip college varsity and go pro while attending passive college. Either ways, I expect Ji-Su to be first pick overall.

I like the game of Lee Ju-Yeon: a versatile winger that plays PG, SG and SF, who also moves well in defending lateral players. Na Yun-Jeong at 174cm is another shooter waiting in the mold of Yoon Yebin while 175cm Chah Ji-Yeon shows promise as a playmaker to play SF or SG.

Park Ji-Su has been named MVP of Round6 of the WKBL, the first ever rookie to win that plum. KB Starts now at the third place of the league for the playoff race. All in all, Ji-Su in matching up with foreigners, have elevated her game and this bodes well for Korea's chances in the 2017 FIBA Asia.

Coach Wer Sung-Woo has resigned after leading the team for four years. KBA will elect a successor for this year's FIBA Asia competition.

Also, WNT PF Yang Ji-Hee has also retired after 12 years of playing in the WKBL.

As expected, Go Ah-Ra did not made the cut for the very stacked LA Sparks. NT needs her more.

Somewhat good news: Before the WKBL season starts, its stakeholders, team executives and the KBA will meet about the NT's preparation for next year's World Cup and how the WKBL can introduce measures to help the NT this season.

WKBL season over and the KBA will name a new NT head coach for this year's international tournaments -- namely the 2018 Asian Games and the 2018 FIBA Women's World Cup.

The ones I would like to see added to the NT are:

182cm Park Ji-Hyun - The unanimous WKBL 1st pick overall. Her older brother, Park Ji-Won is playing for Yonsei. She's played for the U18 and U19 NT. Attended last month's BWB 2018 camp.

190cm Choi Eun-Sil - Woori's versatile winger that is essentially a 3&D type of player.

                  Others up for consideration:

                  Kang Su-Sul
                  Kim Ji-Yeong
                  Nuh Hyun

Park Ji-Su selected by Lynx as 17th in the 2nd round and later traded to the Las Vegas expansion.

Park Ji-Su is determined to make the LV Aces lineup as she is now reported to be seeking a release clause for her club, the KB Stars. Park could also miss the World Cup and the Asian Games.

KBA might re-negotiate with Park regarding the Asian Games as that competition is really what matters to them and Park is a huge loss if she won't play.
