For Kuzminskas type of player it can be even beneficial system (he needs to learn to play as aggressively as he can and limited minutes will only push him to do that), but Plaza could give him extended minutes here and there in a good day to boost his confidence even more. Some +30 points games would mean a lot for Kuzminskas who has (had hopefully) confidence issues and he could surely get this playing +30 minutes last night.
Tell this to Plaza. You wrote smth mysterious goin' on there, I just replied that it's Plaza, his style, which he used in Zalgiris and does the same in Unicaja. No mystery, just tactics. Good or bad, only time will tell

Yes.Kuzminskas should have played more minutes. It was clear when he was seated Unicaja struggled. And it was funny when Brose two times narrowed the point difference to 7 and Kuzminskas Comes and fixes everything. And winning by a bigger point margin is important.

Kuzminksas' highlights against Brose Baskets: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=apXLdtdxHfI

He's off to a very good start of the season. Love how he adds versatility to his game scoring multiple ways and showing a nice touch, craftiness while passing the ball. He turned to 26 tonight, probably still 2 or 3 years away from peaking, interesting how far he can go. This summer was a brake out time for him - he showed he's improving and growing as a player at the big stage.

One more game like this, and Mindaugas should be awarded with Player of the month title in Euroleague.

he was great. watched game with Jewish commentary, but understood this: Kuzminskas fenomali, fenomali =D.
he was doing everything again, but seems that no matter how good he plays he will always get 22-23mins per game and not more.

32 minutes played! Seriously!? I thought it's literally impossible

16,6 points (76,7%, 42,9%, 83,3% ), 4,2 rebounds in 23 minutes. Absolute beast mode so far by Kuzminskas. He's index rating per 40 minutes is second best in Euroleague (after Bourousis). And looks like Kuzminskas more or less can keep it up. He's very aggressive, very intense and seem to have a lot of confidence these days.

Rumours: Kuzminskas agreed with CSKA for next season. Would be interesting, anything but Unicaja would be interesting

These are big fat lies from the Spanish Media, they say Kuzminskas wants to win the Euroleague before heading of to NBA, ridiculous. I just wonder how much is Kuzminskas worth now.

Indeed it would, just hopefully it wouldn't end up like in sayin' "jumped from the fryin' pan into the fire" (nuo vilko ant meskos) It'd be hell of the task to break into CSKA rotation and have those 20mins he is getting now. Higgins might still be there, Kurbanov is having really good season and is very similar player to Kuzia. One way or another, with Unicaja most likely bein' out of EL since next season, he must move somewhere else

Well, now I think he's ready to compete for minutes at the high level. He added mass and toughness compared to Zalgiris' days and is able to play physical basketball, to take it to the rack. That's how he finally cracked NT rotations and became one of the most valuable players in the knock out stage, kinda became an X factor. Here's nice fresh mix and you can see the differences of his body there as well:

General managers of Euroleague clubs think that the best small forward in Euroleague is Mindaugas Kuzminskas. Nice appreciation. Hopefully we'll see Kuzminskas on the beast mode in Olympics as well

Nice.. But I Would like to see how he would compete in a stronger roster team like CSKA Real or Fenerbache or even NBA.
