Link for the secondary school's national basketball championship finals. Rosmini vs St.Kents

Rosmini with 3 filipino players. Reimar Cruz Rosmini's 6th man. Tyler Martin who also comes off the bench. Terrence Abdon who is injured at the moment.

OT: Both teams have an asian player for their 6th man.
Watching the Nationals (NZ High school top tournament), here are takeaways in talent
Taane Murray with his length 6'6 and natural scoring wing game is definitely a future Tall Black,
The MVP Broughton is a beast (Zion type) and sure Div 1 rotation player
Sam Mennenga 6 9 is another div 1 player (not sure if he can crack a high major div 1 as a key player though)

Form a NZ Pinoy perspective you can see why none of the Pinoy tall prospects no one taller than 6 5, can even make the roster of the top NZ High school teams

The best kiwi guards like Dunn (Rosmini) aren't that impressive (not sure anyone makes div 1 rotation) on that note you can see why Reimar Cruz and Jordan Perez of St Pats (Pinoys) while undersize, are competitive and key contributors to their teams. The two would make the rotation of the top high schools in the Philippines

Jordan Perez averaged 14 pts a game (30 games) this season for St Patrick's (2018 National runner ups), last Pinoy player to average those numbers in Premier NZ High school is probably Ken Tuffin

This is Reimar's first Nationals (hard to crack Rosminis lineup)

Both player together with Rosmini (Abdon and Martin) graduate from high school this year

For this year's nationals we could probably conclude that Reimar Cruz is the best filipino prospect. Hopefully he makes an NCAA(PH) squad next year.

Arguably yes Reimar had the better National tournament compared to Jordan on the basis that his team advanced to the Finals, Jordan however is relied more by 14th place St Patrick's, he avg more 11 pts to Reimar's 7 pts and outscored him in match up, (close game despite Pats being severely less talented),
Following the season, Terrence got more minutes than Reimar, while Jordan was a revelation for St Pats led team in total points for the season

Reimar has an NCAA offer already

While Jordan is in the radar for UAAP teams

He is around 5'9. Skinny but very fast kid. No chance for him to go iso and dribble much. NZ style you have to get rid of the ball asap. Not much room for crossovers. This kid could press full court for the whole game tho. This kid also plays with no fear. Challenges rebounds against 6'6 and above players (even during the finals against the man-beast shalom broughton). This kid would be very serviceable in the NCAA(PH). In short defense and mentality is really good.

Letran now has Chualalay so you expect them to go hard at every recruit too.

Like a more mature version of Nonoy but more defense oriented? Interesting, I wanna see this kid play.
