        In which context?

I'm waiting for all lefty lineup in NT one day. It's pretty possible for some 2023 or 2024 to see these guys together on the court.

        Jokubaitis (Lekavicius)
        Brazdeikis
        Sirvydis
        Tubelis
        D. Sabonis (Motiejunas)

I wonder if there ever was all lefty line-up in any team ever? Probably not.

PS: Domantas Sabonis made NBA All- Lefty team in 2019 according to this. This season he would be a starter, IMO:

LTU NT will snatch Eurobasket 2029 title with this roster:

        Jokubaitis, Marciulionis, Laurencikas
        Indrusaitis, Brazdeikis, Rubstavicius
        Buzelis, Lelevicius
        Murauskas, Sirvydis
        Tubelis, Krivas

I didn't see him in your list and was wondering if it's because he's from different generation or not talented enough

Too hard to evaluate. I think essentially he was SF, and there's a good chance he was more talented (at least offensively) than guys like Maciulis, Timinskas. That's an interesting angle, but some guys in their forties needed here for more objective take.

            • New interview with ltu basketball proffessor J.Kazlauskas show up in 15min.

              Few things stick with me

Jei gerai pamenu lietuvos krepsinio istorija, tik du zmones be perejimo laikotarpio is jauniu i vyrus tapo pasaulinem zvaigzdemis: tai Sabonis ir Paulauskas.

Zvaigzdemis tapo ir daug kitu zaideju, bet visi ilgiau ar trumpiau turejo pereinamaji laikotarpi.Kuo tas laikotarpis trumpesnis, tuo krepsininkas tampa geresniu.Kuo anksciau atsiskleidzia ,tuo anksciau kyla.O kai kuriems krepsininkams tuo pereinamuoju laikotarpiu krepsinis ir baigias.

3.Isleidziama daug pinigu ir laiko kol zaidejas buna parengtas, kol jis duoda rezultata. Mesti vyresni lauk,o imti jauna kuris net gal pasieks to lygio? Niekas nezino, gal ir pralenks ,bet zaidejas turi pats issikovoti vieta komandoje.

when proffesors in their field talks with world class achievements i shut up,listen and try to learn something.

              • "I always thought Kariniauskas is next Kalnietis". Controversial claim. Less athletic, even worse shooter, inconsistent and unpredictable character (maybe matured already), solipsistic, inferior BB IQ compared to Kalnietis. IDK, too me it's a strange comparison...Yeah, Kazlauskas likes tall PGs so probably that's where it comes from.

                • both very long pg 1m95+,both smart, running their teams well and have pure pg mindset .Kazlauskas loves such guards (he himself was like that as player ).

There arent too many such long pg thats main similiarity with them.

Kariniauskas had his character demons after 2016,but by 2020 he matured as men after becoming father and become very solid pg that coaches can trust.

When Kazlauskas took 22 old Kariniauskas to Olympics he saw something in him. When Kazlauskas took 21 old Lekavicius to eurobasket 2015 he also saw something in him.

Nobody would be suprised if both of them will end up in NT 2022,but this time not as kids anymore.

                  • It's just that Kariniauskas never was a good PG at any worth mentioning level. Even today he's backing up for wild Speedy Smith at Champions League level...Kariniauskas for majority of his career has been the same PG as Velicka. At times can dish the ball nicely, but also loves to go solipsistic (ISO). In windows Kariniauskas wasn't controling NT at the highest level, he simply attacked the basket fearlessly. Comparison with way more athletic and better facilitating Kalnietis (who was boderline elite EL PG in his prime) makes little sense as Kariniauskas even today didn't reach EL level. To me Kariniauskas is Velicka without Velicka's athleticism.

Kazlauskas emphasized that both Kalnietis and Kariniauskas can switch all as PG. That's about all compared those two... their size...

It's just one coach, lets not give him professor name just yet, hes is somewhere in between. Dude was always known for trusting older players more than giving chances to upcoming ones and his interview just confirms that. Is that the right way to go, not for me to say.

Those are impressive for Lithuanian coach. In worldwide context he is not a professor, mainly because he lacks consistent success in club basketball.

Such a weak kid type argument ...

by your logic there is no proffesors in any field from lithuanians ? because their achievements is very little compared to top 10world proffesors right?

Kid go to Google and read what proffesor word means.

Calling people kids and dinosaurs when you cant cope with other people opinions is weak.

There is definitely no Lithuanian coach, that can be called professor in world context. If you will, people will just laugh at you.
