Eurobasket 2015 group draw

I know I've mentioned it somewhere, just can't find it, that the Fiba's failed logic is exactly leading to 4 hosts being able to pick one more NT for their group (ussualy you've got 1 host that is able to determine their own group and the location 3 other teams will play in) and guess what... it's happening. Slovenia will be playing in Zagreb.

Not that playing in Zagreb isn't exactly what most of our fans and players wanted, however might be a bit unfair to others, now that we have 4 hosts and 4 additionaly selected NT's that's one third of the participating teams already.

24sata.hr reports Slovenia will play in Zagreb, Lithuania in Riga, Turkey in Germany and Finland in France, that kind of narrows some options down

Estonian basketball federation agreed with the terms that were proposed by the Latvian basketball federation and therefore will most problably play in Riga.

There's a pretty good chance now (50% as it's either Spain or Lithuania) that all the Baltic States will be together in the "Riga" group.

Assigning 1 team to an empty group is a no big deal as nothing gets influenced by that, but selecting any team to a group that already has one team in it, even making it possible to consequently determing one more team isn't exactly what comes to my mind as a fair play. Fiba is loosing it.

Lithuania lucky with a draw 2nd tournament in a row But baring in mind that this is Olympic qualies, is sooo much more important. 1st place in group is a must in case not to meet Cro, Slo, Gre, which most likely will clinch top3 places in group C. Latvia at home won't be easy nut to crack tho. Then also A2/B3 isn't the hardest one, baring in mind France winning it's group and Spain/Serbia doin' the same. So semi is reachable, if injuries won't occur and everything will go as planned
